How can I avoid the dreded purple dick when using a VED? Petechiae.

Petechiae - Broken capillaries on the surface of my penis shaft. Appears as purple dots. Usually caused by too much vacuum applied too fast, or too aggressively.
Disappears in 2-3 days when I discontinue use of VED, but then so does the results gained by VED use.
Can be avoided by much less aggressive vacuum use, but then I get little to no results.

Have you found the right combination?
Creating enough vacuum to engorge, but not so much as to cause petechiae?
Or do you just power thru the purple dick to achieve your desired result?

I used the VED for ten years. Never had any purple dots. Suspect it depends upon the individual.
