Just an update. I'm now 10 weeks post implant ( AMS700CX with Tenacio pump) done by Dr Hakky ( first and second implants done by different Dr)
Here are my personal observations. Dr Hakky is a great Dr and I highly recommend him, great bedside manner, he doesn't talk over your head, and treats you like a long time friend. He has you start cycling early, and listens to any and all concerns - before, during, after the surgery.
AMS700CX great device, very hard when pumped up and somewhat soft when deflated ( mine hasn't softened up much but should over the next few months of use )
Tenacio pump is a bit of a conundrum - Boston Scientific says it's a one push and release to deflate and that because of the new design it's easier and faster to pump up. For me I can say not so on the deflate but on inflating it, yes. When I try to deflate it, I can feel the "click" that is very subtle to let you know it's in deflate mode - but for me it doesn't, I have to press the button in just right to a certain spot to deflate and if I squeeze my penis to help deflate the shaft, it will squeal as it deflates ( my guess is from the added pressure ).
Now on pumping it up it seems to fill faster with fast, short, micro squeezes than it does with full compressions, haven't figured that one out yet but it works great and that's all I care about.
Dr Hakky placed the pump further back behind the "boys" with the button pointed out between them. It's very easy to get to and works great now that all the swelling is definitely gone.

Thanks for the update…that helps give me confidence as I have Dr. Hakky installing a Titan for me in October. It sounds like he’s helped you achieve a great result, I hope to be equally lucky.

Elbowroom - you'll be in great hands. He does a great job. He usually sends you a little video after the surgery letting you know how it went, if you let him know the night before he'll charge the GoPro and video the surgery ( I forgot to ask him until morning if and it was too late ).

Great to know, I was going to ask him to take pics or video. Cool.
He's just such a good doctor to talk to, he definitely put me at ease immediately. His reputation for implants is pretty sterling. And my wife likes him because during the appointment he actually talked to her too and told her how important her support and care were through this process. It made her feel like "part of the team".

Glad to hear you are doing well JohnHC, great update
I have the old AMS MS pump and I had one of the Boston Scientific patient champions tell me to hold in the deflate button longer than 4 seconds to get it to deflate better, because the pump is new. I'm sure your pump will start to break in as times goes on, mine did.
If I want my dick to deflate faster, I hold the button in constantly and squeeze my dick at the same time, that makes it a lot faster to empty out.
But after my MS pump break in, I could push in the deflate button for 4 seconds and my dick will empty out pretty good. Sometimes I like the chubby feeling of having some saline still in the tubes, but if I don't I'll continue to squeeze out.
For me and the pump I have, I found that to get my dick totally empty it is better to hold the deflate button and squeeze out the saline, if I let go of the button after 4 seconds, it takes longer to squeeze out the saline in the tubes.
I hope that helps, even though I have the old pump,

JohnHC, my experience with the Tenacio is similar. However, I have to keep the deflate button depressed while deflating. Mine is not "one touch". But, it does not make any sound while deflating.
Do you have to keep the deflate button depressed while deflating ?
