When lying down do you want more squeezes and when standing up less? Is this true? I think I've noticed something like this twice.

I don't think it should make any difference. The fluid run in the connecting tubes depends on the flow that is due the diameter of the tubes the same regardless, if standing or laying down.

Maybe because when you're lying down it allows a little fluid back in?
