How long did you have pain at the pump? Also- cycling opinions?

Postby SammyVegas » Mon Jan 01, 2024 7:26 pm

Hello gentlemen!

I am 1 week to the day implanted by dr Clavell. My pump is in the right testicle. The swelling has gone down substantially but the boys are still a bit big- to which, I have some pain around the pump still. How long did everyone else have pain in that area?

Which leads me to the next question- the doc said not to cycle early. Actually he said he prefers I do not. The problem I have is work. When I try to fold my somewhat erecting penis up to my abdomen I can only do a few minutes. I asked the doc if I could cycle for work needs, and he said I could, but highly recommends that I do not, also, I have to move my penis thru out the day to prevent curvature.

Has anyone with Clavell cycled early for work needs? Any problems?

Looking for some help- this next week is not a big deal and I can work around a bit- but next week I have to go to a corporate executive meeting for 4 days. I won’t be able to just get up and leave every 15 min to adjust.

Thoughts?

I had clavell as well. I would say 1 month to 5 weeks before the pain/swelling around the pump was gone. I also work at a corporate job and worked 6 days post op. It sucked, the thing that helped me most at work was a baby sock and pointing my cock to the left, thats my natural most comfortable spot. Then i put away the boxers and bought some tighty whites. Go buy some infant socks, put one over your cock, then some tight underwear.

I took 6 days off, work Week 1 was hard, it got way better week two. You might want a cover story if you need to excuse yourself more than normal, hernia surgery etc… but if your timeline matches mine, you will get way better next week.

Thanks man. That gives me hope. I got some socks and it’s wrapped but it’s been 30 minutes and I’m hurting. Still glad I did it!

The kids socks and some tighter underwear should help. I liked boxer briefs, snug but not too constrictive. The pump took me a few weeks to feel better. Mostly the boys needed time to adjust to their new roommate. Sitting on a hard chair for any length of time took me about 6 weeks to tolerate. Lots of scootching around on my chair to adjust or relieve pressure.
The best thing I found for the achy uncomfortable feeling was Aspercream. A small dab smeared on my shaft kept me feeling good for several hours. As far as cycling I never cycled until I was 5 months out. Never instructed, never knew at the time it was something you were supposed to do.
