The AMS recall list of pumps issued in May 2020 includes the serial number of my pump.
But I was implanted in Sept 2021 in India.
How did this happen? Were these models mot supposed to be returned to BS as per their circular issued in May 2020.
I stumbled upon this while doing my usual research on FT .
Am I misintepreting something?

You should contact Boston Scientific (AMS). As I recall some of the devices on the list may not have been defective. I am not sure what the problem was. The pump may have been sent back and checked or in some way given the ok to use. That is just a guess on my part.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.
