On two separate occasions over the last 2 weeks, when I have initially started to inflate my titan, nothing has happened when i start to inflate. The first 4 or 5 pumps, the bulb seems harder than normal and it doesn't appear that any saline is being transferred. After 5 pumps or so, it kind of 'pops' and the saline gets transferred as normal.
Any ideas what could be causing this and whether it is a common issue or not? is it a need to be more concerned?
Thanks

Re: Bulb getting stuck
Strange. Mine popped the first time doc deflated me but never again. Try pressing the deflate button and pump the bulb once or twice. That is supposed to unlock something.

Stuck valves w/the Titan is a known problem. More for some than others.
Age 73. Started taking 5 mg Cialis daily in 2000. Minor ED started in 2021. Major ED problem started in 2022. Coloplast Titan (20 cm w/1cm RTE) implanted infrapublicly on 01/24/2023 by Dr. Edward Karpman (El Camino Urology Medical Group, Mt. View, CA).

from Coloplast literature its says: After the prosthesis has been deflated, for each new inflation, the first pump may require more pressure than subsequent pumps. It is recommended after full deflation of the IPP to
teach the patient to inflate one pump to make the next usage easier.
Also Ive seen I believe a Dr. Clavel video recommending after deflation to pump or two times to prime valve for the next use. GL.
62 yrs old first implanted 9/4/2012 Titan OTR, lasted 10 years failed on 9/7/2022. Revision by Dr. Clavell 4/5/2023. 24cm + 1cm RTE's, Titan OTR. 110CC cloverleaf reservoir. Penoscrotal both times.
