Floppy Glans concerns because of scar tissues / Peronyies

Postby SwissTalk » Mon Jan 30, 2023 2:51 pm

I am thinking about getting an implant. My story can be found here on the website.

I had an accident during sex about a year ago because my erection was too weak and my penis bent. It wasn't a penis fracture, but enough that I now have a bend just below my glans. I also feel a hardening there, which is scar tissue.

I have read here that because of the scar tissue, the implant might can't be inserted into the glans enough and that one could be left with a floppy glans. This is not a result I would wish for.

Can a good doc work his way through scar tissues?
Or is there a Bionic Brother who has suffered from Peyronies or has scar tissue just below the glans who can tell me how his outcome was?

FYI I know of a patient who was told by Dr Eid that an implant likely wouldn't fix his curvature as bends just below the glans don't receive much straightening force.

I have no first hand knowledge on this but from what I understand of what I have read is it depends on the doctor to a large part. So this would be a big part of your surgeon selection. The problem is that many lesser skilled doctors will tell you that they can fix this perfectly and then do a very poor work for you. If you can set up a tele visit to some of the bigger name doctors. I have seen videos and read accounts of men who's doctors did a lot of work with plaque and scar tissue. But then I have talked to other men who have told me of the doctor saying how good he was and then going a very poor job. One had his urethra torn when the implant was removed because of an infection.

Good luck going forward with this.

I can still get a semi like feeling when deflated and still can get engorged glands without pumping my implant. Everyone is different though. Also you can use a gel or cream such as trimix gel to use to engorge the glands if you do find you have issues. It's not as bad as it sounds either your head isn't co pletely flopping around it just doesn't get to a full mushroom state. For example when I'm cycling my implant I'm not aroused so my glands won't be engorged. You still need arousal for glands to become engorged or in my case I do anyway

Hearing BWTBBB's account of Eid's diagnosis on a guy with a similar problem, I would still recommend a teleconsult with him.

He reported to me after my surgery which lasted 2 1/2 hours, that I was obliterated with scarring -- he didn't specify where -- but obliterated sounds extensive. He said he had to use a very small drill to get through it, but he succeeded. And today I have more length and girth than pre-op. And my glans is normal, with a bit of help from daily Cialis.

So if anyone can help you, my personal opinion is that it's the doc with vast implant experience -- and who's encountered a myriad of obstacles along the way, the Master himself. Again, just my personal opinion, fwiw.

To be honest, I don't mind the curvature. I am more concerned about ending up with a floppy glans.

Really happy to her that Eid could help. I've already made my decision to go with him and to hear this is really reassuring.
