First inflation Jan 31

Postby Livingstonguy » Sat Jan 28, 2023 11:38 am

We return to the surgeon Jan 31 for my first inflation. He left me 40% inflated at surgery and told me not to do anything until I returned to him at the 6 week mark on the 31st. Honestly, my scrotum was painful to the touch until last week and it's still tender. Until a couple of days ago I couldn't bear the thought of squeezing my scrotum for any reason. Hopefully it won't be too uncomfortable!

My wife is very excited for the Dr's visit Tuesday! LOL

Best of luck to you! Doc left me inflated until 5 1/2 weeks. Two days later it was put to its first use!

Please let me know your doctor instructions. I am having trouble scheduling my 1st post op appointment. 1.10.2023 surgery. He said I was 50%. I want to know what to do. Pain 1st 2 weeks brutal but slowly lessened. Just starting to think about using device. Hope I can get in to doctor . Afraid to see a general field doctor . They won't know specifics. Thanks

Which brings a question to my own mind.

I'm 60% inflated and 25 days postop. Doctor says I can begin cycling "between weeks 4-6, depending on 'me'". (and how i'm healing, i guess). I'm feeling pretty good these days. Walking 3+ miles daily. Doesn't hurt to sit anymore. All bruising and swelling 100% gone.

But when i gently reach down and feel the pump in my scrotum, it's ok. If i begin to circle it with my fingers gently or move it around it doesn't take much to feel the onset of a bit of stinging or soreness. So my question for you penoscrotal guys especially, when did it begin to not hurt (or at least be semi-comfortable) enough to grasp the pump and squeeze with the appropriate force for inflation?

My Dr scheduled the post-op appointment at the time of my surgery. I didn't have to schedule anything
