Scrotum still tender

Surgery was 3 weeks ago today. My scrotum is still very tender and feels "full". I can feel the edges of the pump, but can't imagine even trying to squeeze it at this point. I have an appointment with my surgeon in 3 more weeks for my first instruction on inflating/deflating. I hope to God by the time of my appointment the tenderness will be gone!

Yes it will be. I'm 4 weeks in and only just feeling good enough to cycle. When I saw the nurse at 3 weeks she was surprised that I was able to cycle already and said most men at 3 weeks won't even let her touch them so your on track and all sounds very normal? Not an expert but it's a pretty big operation and you've had something foreign Inserted into your body. The common theme on here is patience my friend. Are you doing the daily hot bath soaks as recommended to you in your prior posts?

I am as I'm trying to massage my pump lower down into the scrotum.

Love a bath anyway. I waited until the stitches/scabbing was all healed up before hand though.

If your healed I'd deffo reccomend a bath or 2

I’m 9 days post op. Penoscrotal. I attribute having virtually no swelling or bruising to both a skilled surgeon and lots of ice the first 3 1/2 days. No pain at all, just soreness (not bad at all, just squirm around a bit). I’m partially inflated until 6 weeks and have been instructed not to touch it fiddle with anything for 6 weeks. Advice i’m following.

Just curious, but we’re you penoscrotal or infrapubic?

Stop worrying about this, patiently wait until your 6 week checkup, don’t fiddle with it, let your body heal, this is completely normal.

My scrotum is still tender 4 years later. Maybe I should stop pumping up every day. LOL
