Getting an implant with chronic mild testicle swelling and pain from trauma

Postby Bwtbbb » Sun Jan 01, 2023 12:49 pm

Most days I have no pain, just a barely noticeable swelling around one testicle that doctors weren't able to notice during examination. Ultrasounds showed no issues.

If I sleep in such a way that my testicle is hanging down unsupported, I get a large, harder swelling along the outside of my testicle that seems like the epididymis. This lasts until the following day and causes more frequent pain.

My Peyronie's prevents me from wearing underwear in my sleep so I can't ensure it's supported every night.

Sleeping on my right side causes pain in the testicle that is lessened or eliminated by having a pillow between my legs

Do you foresee any issues with this? Could a surgeon be unwilling to operate because of this?

If you have chronic scrotal pain and no specific etiology is found, you need to ask your urologist about a procedure called Micro Denervation of the Spermatic Cord. The nerves are cut to the testicle, so you no longer feel pain. I can assure you it works.
You will need to resolve your pain issue before considering an implant. Both procedures cannot be performed at the same time.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Thank you. In my case though the swelling and pain are so mild and the pain is so infrequent that I can easily live with it. It's not something I would get a surgery for just to just hide the pain.

If the implant procedure is traumatic to the testicles, I worry that it would do a lot more damage to the testicle. Or if the post-operative swelling will be a lot more painful in my case.
