I got the call today. Insurance is a YES!

Postby Livingstonguy » Wed Nov 16, 2022 8:35 pm

I got the call from my surgeon today that insurance will pay for my implant. If I do it before the end of the year my cost will be $700 since I have already met my deductible. If I wait until after Jan 1 it will be $4000 more because of my deductible. Looks like we are doing this Late December. Very nervous, but excited!

Now just to figure out how long to tell them I will be off work!

Thanks. It was my surgeons office that called and said the insurance would cover it. We have a 2 week vacation to Jamaica the first 2 weeks of December, so I'll have the surgery after vacation. I'll call again tomorrow to get a specific date. I'll take a month off work to get the most of my short term disability that I have been paying into. LOL
