Underwear after surgery
I know the question has been asked and answered several time, but I’ve not seen this question asked. Has anyone worn under armor boxer jocks for support after their surgery. Will be implanted in two weeks and am trying to get everything together. Here’s a link https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/p/und ... 63619.html

Those look good and would probably work ok.. I went with separatec and still love them. It separates your penis from everything else and does let you have a little more freedom to move around. The big thing they do is keeps it from rubbing aginst everything else and keeps me from sweating also. Just this week at almost 6 months I tried some bikini briefs and had no problem wearing them all day. Just a month ago at 5 months I couldn’t tolerate it being mashed that hard.

For the first few days after surgery you will want as little as possible. Maybe nothing if you can get away with it. Some doctors have you wear a jock. My discharge instructions instructed me to do so for maybe 3 days. So I had a second jock ready when I was cleared to shower. I washed it in hot water and bleach and dried on high and put in a zip lock baggie out of the dryer. But I was really afraid of infection. After the jock is gone mostly just a wound dressing. When you get ready to go out and about it depends on your incision. I had mine done penoscrotal and had a very large webbing removed. My incision was long and I had a lot of stiches that would snag and poke. I used the separate pouch underwear. Others have used a baby sock. Some doctors also advise to tape or otherwise hold the penis pointing toward the navel. That underwear dose not appear to separate the penis from the scrotum so if penoscrotal is done you might want to also check into some baby socks until the wound is healed. If infrapubic no need to worry about separate pouches and those should be fine.
Good luck.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.
