You don't want a 3 piece if you are doing this sport - that I feel fairly confident in.

It has less to do with 'breaking' the implant and a whole lot more to do with the pump, which is a lego block piece with a bulb at the bottom hanging around in your nut sack. Think about having a lego in your sack and trying to mount someone or, even worse, throwing both legs in the crab ride or sinking in a rear naked choke. Nope, not for me.

I have a 3 piece and bought a cup in hopes I might at least grapple again. I cut and split my own wood for my fireplace and doing that learned that my fighting for fun days are over.

I don't know a lot about the malleable implants but I assume you would be good to go with no dangling pump. For what it's worth brother...

Yeah bud - I hear you, I am not versed whatsoever with the malleable implant at all but that would be my concern too. Will a malleable implant even fit inside a cup? Or are you going to have to worry about the tip slipping outside the cup and subsequently getting pinched between your cup and opponent? I am afraid I can't comment on that...

As for other sports, running, jogging, walking, etc. - all is cool. For me, the problem is 'squatting.' So when I squat down in jeans my jeans will push the pump up in my sack against my body and while it hasn't hurt yet - it is quite disturbing to feel. Like, I feel if I had to squat really fast, in jeans, I feel like I could hurt myself. So I am just careful...

I get the sense that you might be outside North America? I live in the US and in my State we are permitted to carry a concealed weapon (gun). So I don't concern myself too much with protecting myself with my body anymore. My kids are grown and gone too... so it is less than a concern for me at this point in my life. But I hear you, if you have a young family and can't carry a weapon while living in a place where violence happens... I would be like you and training like a MF'r.

That's all I got my brother - best of luck and I will stay tuned to your post. I love combat sports and I am curious to hear where you end up.

Rocco,

I'm very sorry, I forgot to respond to your email. That's poor show on my part.

I have returned to BJJ with my implant. At first I was cognizant of the larger flaccid, that they may feel it, I was also worried about pain, and damaging the implant, tubing or pump. All of your concerns.

It's worked out fine. I wear normal underwear, and generally your standard BJJ pants.

There is no pain, I have not found that the pump digs in, even when pressure is applied to the area, such as rear nakeds, as mentioned above.

I find that my legs, and pubic mound seem to take the pressure, the penis is just pushed in between, such that there is no pressure on the pump.

I don't doubt that they can feel the flaccid at times, but nobody has been awkward about it. So it doesn't bother me.
To put it in persepctive, do you feel or think about the groin of those who have your back?
It's the last of your worries!

Don't worry about it, and for goodness sake don't be put off the implant because of it. That would be so sad!

Get the implant done, ED will destroy you.
Much love to all,.

My surgeon has retired, mate.

There has never been an issue at any point during BJJ. It just doesn't happen.
I never think about it.

Just make sure to get the biggest cup and the malleable that bends more than 90 degrees. I am not on my Mac machine, so you have to look it up here on FT.

Actually, found it. Make sure to get the Rigicon, it bends to 135 degrees when stowing away. This angle, you can put away your malleable more comfortably in your cup.

Why would he want to get a malleable?

If you want it to shrink in size the most, while providing the largest erect size, along with the softest feel, then an inflatable is the way.

I don't use a cup during BJJ, not good for armbars, you would snap someone's arm with very little torque.

Yes, but with a big cup, you can comfortably put away your malleable, esp. if its a Rigicon.
Size is up to the implantee, so I am just spit-balling here on what to do since I had the malleable for a little while.
With the 3-piece, more things to worry about, esp. if you don't use a cup.
Aside from the implant in between your legs, you have to the reservoir to deal with in your abdomen.
From a practical point of view, for all the grappling and hitting, yeah, I'd say the malleable.
