Worried about erosion

I have been severely undersized by my surgeon and this has been confirmed by Professor Ralph at UCLH. I have seen him in person, had an MRI and have a video consult with him in two weeks time to discuss my options in more detail following the MRI. The appointment was originally scheduled for November but yesterday was brought forward by two months.

I can very prominently feel the tips of both cylinders and my concern has always been the possibility of them causing erosion and breaking through the skin of the shaft as they are no where near the glans and constantly press against the shaft underneath my foreskin.

I lost my Bionic virginity two weeks ago, with my new partner ( surgery was in Feb this year ) and the sex has been great. However, I might have overdone it this weekend as I now have a very dull ache close the the tips and there is now a very slight mark/indentation on my shaft, directly where the tips are and I am concerned this could be a sign that they might break through the skin, having possibly eroded away what ever is directly under the shaft body.

My new surgeon has told me it is very unlikely this will happen ( pre MRI ) but I am keen to hear if anyone else has had a similar issue and if so what the consequences were. If it did happen would it mean an almost certain infection? Is it easily fixed by someone who isn't a specialist in the implant field? Or, am I over worrying and should I just take things easy?

I would be worried about that exact same issue, too.

If you inflate and then pull your shaft down the implant, how deeply can you seat the distal tips into your glans?

In the meantime, I would have coitus very carefully and enjoy as much fellatio as possible. Reciprocte with cunnilingus out of fairness with the promise of better fucking after Mr (Professor/Doctor) Ralph gets you fixed up. (I hope you are familiar with the phrase, "a lick and a promise" means, though it SHOULD not be applicable here, as you are very serious-I could not resist alluding to Walter White's quote sine both you and he are/were British.)

The tips are no where near the glans, probably a good 1.5cm below. This is my issue as they are not in the glans they are pressed/digging into the side of the shaft and as the shaft is unsupported by the cylinders, when inflated they are at a 60 degree angle to the left making the issue even worse. Even now, 3 days after I last had sex. It doesn’t feel normal and I can feel the tips even through my jeans.

I am going to hold off intercourse until the 19th when I speak to my surgeon and instead get intimate whilst inside her but with little to no thrusting just to keep the intimacy. Luckily I love giving oral so I will focus on that for the time being.

Are there any positions which put extra pressure on the tips and we should avoid? I’m guessing missionary where I can control the thrusting with lots of lube is best but I am so worried I will try and refrain full stop for the time being.

Just my observation. You're not the first to have this on this forum. The best that I can say is I do not recall any member reporting a complete erosion. In other words, I think that you're reasonable safe for at least the near future.
If your doctor hasn't advised to stop sex then your likely ok. Now that doesn't mean sex will be discomfort free. Good luck.

GT, thanks that’s really interesting and positive to hear.

I was thinking that as the tips are quite rounded I did think it might take a lot for them to break through the skin. If they eroded whatever was under the skin ( tunica? ) then would that complicate a revision surgery?

Think for a minute. The tunica is cut then stitched closed to put the cylinders in. I doubt that an extra incision would even be noticed. The erosion repair would be near the glans. Most implant work is done near the base.

Ok, so, as long as I don’t go like a porn star I should be ok, although I might be in discomfort either during or for a short period after sex. I can live with that, as long as I don’t put myself in any danger. I’ll have a proper talk with my surgeon on the 19th but will take things slowly in the meantime
