Is a circumcision necessary when placing the penile prosthesis?

Postby España1980 » Tue Aug 30, 2022 8:26 pm

One of the doubts I always have is why and when circumcision is performed when making an implant. is it always necessary? or when is it necessary?

It isn't necessary. Many uncut men have implants.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

I did circumcision along with the implant same time not because its needed but I wanted it to be done. Implant was done first then followed by circumcision. But thinking back maybe I shouldnt have done it( I thought it will help me with my PE issue but nothing- Maybe it helps from keeping it clean)..
40 yrs old. Have ED and PE all my life. Never had penetrative sex all my life. Tried almost all kinds of options( pills, injections, natural therapies etc. Turned Bionic on May 17'22 with Titan by Dr.Karpman infrapubic approach.16cm+2 RTE

Circumcision is one of the reasons I NEED an implant. My ED started in my late 20s after I was circumcised at age 26. Once you've had uncircumcised sex, circumcised sex feels like you're wearing 10 layers of condoms. You lose so much sensitivity. I just dont get enough sensation to stay hard. My understanding is it's not as bad if you were circumcised as a baby because you dont miss when you dont remember feeling.

If you can avoid being circumcised, I highly recommend you avoid it.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

I hunted for a urologist that would only remove the phimosis tissue. My foreskin loss is almost unnoticeable. Loss of sensation wasn't an issue in my case. Btw, I had to hunt for awhile inorder to get it done the way that I wanted.

I was also circumcised as an adult at age of 35. Didn’t loose anything else but foreskin and everything worked perfectly until my prostate was removed because of cancer. Didn’t loose any sensitivity and sex was more enjoyable for both my wife and I.
