How much do you leave it inflated

I'm three weeks into this new journey and was wondering how much guys leave it inflated during the day. I'm wondering if it stays over 50 to 70 % inflated, will it soften up quicker. I have been cycling for 2 weeks and have tried it many ways in my pants. 50% doesn't feel too uncomfortable.

What were the doctor/surgeon's instructions at this point in your journey???

Early on, I was instructed to deflate as much as possible. The doctor said by deflating completely, the fluid returns to the reservoir while the body is getting adapted to the size of the reservoir. The body will naturally form scar tissue around the reservoir.

I agree with stmfttr. The reservoir needs to make its space. I was left inflated after surgery to about 60% and didn't get deflated until a checkup at 5 1/2 weeks. After that I tried to deflate as much as possible for the first few months.

I also agree with stmfttr. Especially at your stage. If the reservoir gets encapsulated with scar tissue (which starts immediately, even before you get wheeled into the recovery area and continues for weeks, even months after surgery), it can prevent full deflation. You want to be able to get full deflation every once in a while.

So, the conventional advice is to cycle your implant from full inflation to full deflation at least daily for the first few months (check with your surgeon AND with the manufacturer's Patient Liaison on this).

Personally, 4 years after implant, I get full deflation almost every day but during the day am usually 20% to 40% inflated. If I were "cruising" to attract a potential partner, I might be as full as I could fit in my pants! For the bulge, you understand.

I’m at 14 weeks today and I completely deflate them out 3 pumps in to get some of the big doe ears out and also hangs more comfortable. At 3-4-5 weeks I was anywhere from completely deflated to 5-6 pumps according to what felt best at what ever stage I was at in healing. I change the amount according to what pants I’m wearing also. Experimenting is the best! It’s your new you so see what feels (looks) best for you. One of the advantage of being bionic.

I'm 10 weeks out from implant. I inflate to max twice a day and leave it for about 30 to 40 minutes with occasion top off squeeze during that time period. I can go more than 1 hour with no pain. I also deflate completely at night before going to sleep so that my reservoir can max out and keep capsule supple. My surgeon stressed that keeping the reservoir full in the capsule is important for function and comfort.During the day I'm at 20 to 30 % unless clothing dictates more modesty.
I'm going to go on regular VED program in near future to keep things tuned up

Good point about the reservoir, although can't remember what the doctor said about it. I have 120cc in my reservoir and don't use all that when inflated. So, I believe that there is much more still in the reservoir. But do deflate at night just for comfort.
