Everything but the kitchen sink

Postby 68CatFan » Sun Aug 07, 2022 6:52 pm

Seems like quite a few doctors, even some of the more famous high-volume implanters, follow the standard protocol of avoiding infections. Antibiotics, Hibiclens, etc.. Their experience and skill also help to minimize risk. However, the only one I've seen so far that throws everything but the kitchen sink at fighting infections is Dr. Eid. That includes the no-touch technique and a watertight coating over your scrotum. I'm kind of surprised that more surgeons don't add in these additional steps. Seems to me that if laying plastic over the skin and avoiding contact reduces infections and coating your scrotum with a watertight seal allows you safely soak in stinky cootie filled bathwater three days after surgery... why wouldn't other doctors do this?
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

There’s a tendency to “over think” implants, surgery.

Surgeons, nurses…don’t forget this super important team member, anesthesiologist, hospitals all follow strict guidelines.

The other thing to consider is these surgeons are business people. Part of selling is perceived value. How to create value and separate oneself from others. With every new or different technique, there are always potential problems. Nothing is perfect. Many times old school techniques and practices are perfect.

As a consumer there’s a tendency to justify choices based on best value.

Ok,this isn’t buying a car or house…it’s “my dick”! Damn it!

For me it was how I prepared for surgery , attitude plus expectation.
I did everything Dr Taz and staff suggested. Plus I made an effort to get into shape, not bodybuilding but strong, focus on core and heart. My attitude was everything was going to be perfect…surgery and fully functioning dick.

My outcome was a successful surgery and recovery. Dr Taz personally followed up. If I had any questions, they were answered quickly, or after he completed surgery.
Implanted 5.25.21 Coldplast, 24cm. Dr Tajkarimi.

Sorry to sound blunt ,but if you think Eid is the safest, to which I whole heartedly agree, why not just have him do yours?
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.
