Hey Team:
I'm four months out from having bladder and prostrate removed. I had one nerve bundle spared, and the doctor put me on 5mg of cialis daily and said I have a 50% chance of regaining my erections. I am in a new relationship and desperately want to get back to things. I'm using a pump and injections. The injections work, but for some reason the medicine burns like hell the entire hour. That said, my penis seems to be reacting to them and I've been getting semi-semi-erections. Definite progress but not good enough for sex. So.... I'm looking into implants.
My question is: Is it too early? Would you think that six months is long enough to wait for an implant or should I give it more time?
Any input along these lines will be greatly welcomed.

Re: How long to wait after surgery?
Thought I had just answered this but I guess I lost it. The short answer is that if your doctor says you're ready then you are. Personally if I were in your situation I would definitely not wait very long. When they removed your prostate they shrink your penis by at least one inch and possibly two. You need to use vacuum therapy to regain as much as possible before your operation because what you bring to the table is all you can expect.
