Soreness

25 days after surgery. Still sore but especially at night. I get woken up multiple times in the middle of night due to soreness regardless if the implant is inflated or deflated.

Is this normal?

Hi Florida,

Unfortunately, penis soreness last awhile. Though most sites say penis soreness last 2 to 3 weeks I think you’ll find it’s 6 weeks plus and up to 3 months. As long as it’s soreness and not crazy pain then it’s normal. This is a major surgery and does not heal in 25 days . If you think you’re in too much pain, red, hot or any of those symptoms call your surgeon. Many including my surgeon say soreness last 3 to 6 months. I’m 6 weeks and still sore and swollen but tolerable. But inflating and deflating will keep you tender for a while…Good luck.

I was hoping the soreness would go away after three to four weeks but I guess not

You are going to be sore for a while, sorry. I kept asking myself why did I do this? My healing was very slow, maybe 5 months before I felt ok.

Hot baths before bed and squeeze it hard in the tub. If you squeeze it that helps your brain isolate the pain and come to grips with it. As soon as your brain recognizes that you are aware of it, the nagging becomes less.
