Postby Endoftheline » Thu Jun 23, 2022 6:58 pm

My surgery is tomorroe and eid gave me the choice between 2 pumps. The classic pump or the newer touch. Newer one isnt as durablr but makes no sound when pumping. Which one should i pick guys? And why?

How loud is it? Would some music be enough to cover it up? Or a cough?

My Titan didn't make any noise until several months after use. Now the noise is only when I give it a full pump and it's barely audible. Wife doesn't hear it over the TV.

I've had both pumps. The OTR is a little bit bigger. Both have made sounds when pumping, I think the OTR is a little quieter though. Of the two, I think I prefer the Genesis, but not by much. I've had one Dr tell me the Genesis lasts longer and another tell me the opposite.

ask Eid which one takes less pressure to activate. My LGX pump hurt like He!! for that first squeeze. Until it softened I was playing wack a nut pinball in my scrotum. good luck and great choice.

Hey, Dr Hakky is now going with the OTR for me on July 5th - he showed me several pics where the pump on the classic Titan failed and had to be replaced. He says the OTR is more robust at the weak points, the tubing connecting the pump to the reservoir and cylinders.

Titan one touch is the one to go for.. Very easy to use and one touch to deflate.. Deflating can be pain in the ass but this makes it much much easier..

That is odd - but seeing the pics sold me on trying the OTR. Hope it's good-to-go!
