Initial partial versus full inflation

Postby Scott61 » Wed Jun 22, 2022 2:59 pm

I’m partially inflated following surgery. The doc didn’t say what percentage. I’m wondering how much size I can expect to gain from here just by inflating fully. I still have significant swelling in the groin area so I can’t yet feel the pubic bone but it looks like I’m only about a quarter inch to a half inch short of my original. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much, but I’m certainly not disappointed.

If you're that close size wise you should gain everything back. Just remember that with all the swelling things will look larger, and of course be sore. Once doc clears you to start inflating do the cycling routine. That's inflate as full as you can for up to 30 minutes 2X day. That helps things stretch out to regain size.
My doc left me 60% inflated after surgery. Didn't get deflated until 5 1/2 weeks. It was tough laying around with a semi that long.

you didn't say what type of IPP you have. Still if you are that close I agree you should get it all. I was about 1/3 inflated took a measure that night at just less than 4 inches. Studies seem to show that 1/2 inflated equals your flaccid stretch. But mine was way off.

I have a Coloplast implant.

Installed through the scrotum or above your penis? Or, less common, sub-coronal?
