Cycling - ( bycycle)

Postby jimmi85 » Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:54 am

I used to be quite a keen cyclist and have just put my road bike back together after a long time off the road.

Keen to fin out who has continued cycling since their implant.

I have just been out on it for a very short trip and although it seemed ok I am conscious the pressure on the pump and tubes could do some damage?
Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.

Jimmi85,
When I bike, I wear a jock under my bike shorts (the padded kind).
I do have a padded Ergo seat and a Cane Creek Thudbuster seat post.
No problems!
Get out there and RIDE!!

The only thing I can think of is tangled tubes. My doc braided mine to prevent that from happening. Most guys are too short to worry about. But we had one member whose pump did hoops through his tubes. Had to be cut open and redone.

I ride a lot. I use both a road bike and mountain bike with no issues but i use an anatomic saddle (aerolastic ae). I also ride Enduro and downhill, also in bikeparks.
