My titan pump question

I was implanted 2 weeks ago today with a 20cm titan and 1 RTE. Not sure exactly which pump I got except the paperwork says I must pinch the release bars and hold them continuously til deflated. Also that’s the way the Dr deflated me at my 1 week checkup. I know it’s not the one touch as it would open and release on it’s on after first pinch. Not sure why I got the one you have to hold but don’t bother me as it’s easy to deflate. Question is why didn’t he use the one touch as it seems by reading that it’s the newest. Maybe just his preference.. any input?

I've read the one touch is not as reliable as the standard titan. Also the bulb is larger, meant more for those with finger dexterity issues.

I have the one touch and never use it,too slow for me,I depress the deflate button holding it as I squeeze the fluid out.Takes a few seconds and done!Works flawless!

agree with gjmjoe, while holding the button bend it down to deflate -- it's fast.

Having such a hard time to deflate it doesnt go all the way down.. trying this approach holding the dick down and deflating.. Deflate button is so elusive.. and not to talk about auto inflation..

Thanks for the reply’s. Sounds like Dr did the right thing with the older pump I’ve inflated maybe 10 times and have never had any problems deflating. I squeezed and then bend it down… it gets really flat and deformed until I stand up and then it fills back in just a little but never gets firm at all. I always assume it’s the fluid running back down the lines from the anti flow back valve in resivor… not sure how that could happen but always comes back at least enough to fill out. Been experimenting with putting a pump or two into see if it helps with the dog ears. They really begin to rub sore after an hour or so causing me to move the meat around occasionally. Sure this is all just part of the process as things get toughen up and used to it.I’m at day 15 so still very early. Thanks again.
