Hello strangers,
I recently got my implant done may 23rd. Healing has been I feel somewhat a challenge. My scrotum at one point was the size of a very large grapefruit now it is about the size of a softball. Now about day 3 I rolled over while sleeping and feel I could have possibly caused some damage. I awoke and it didn't feel as hard as it was before I went to sleep and has additional bruising. Is it possible that I ruptured something or do you think I some deflated it on accident? Also when I stand after that day I have searing pain on one side where the shaft meets the base. So after standing for 30 secs it starts to hurt pretty badly. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow just wondering if anyone had any insight.

Hi!
HOPEFUL you are just experiencing normal swelling and your doc agreed. The boys are going to be quite sensitive and delicate for a few months - but it does subside.
Any update following the weekend? Hang in there.

Welcome to the site brother. It is really difficult to say from a message on this board what is going on and you are doing the correct thing in seeing your doctor. The first 3 days after surgery you should be as flat as you can get or even put a pillow under your butt to help keep swelling down and ice packs as long as needed. NSIADS over the counter (Motrin) were prescribed by my doctors. The third day you can start to increase activity if you can. If you did not do this then it may take a while to get the swelling down. Penis swelling will go down after surgery and make you think you deflated. If the tips of the cylinders are still in the Glans it most likely is just swelling going down in your penis. I was very large following my repair. Even larger than I am now fully inflated. That was due to swelling. So the penis swelling may be going down and that is letting you feel other stuff like the tubing going to the reservoir.
Good luck.

Probably need to ice it down some more than what you are. Just my opinion. I’m not doling out medical advice, I was a paramedic for 30 years and I know from that and first hand that ice is your friend. I used frozen peas or corn. They make the best ice packs.
