Sizing question

Postby iwantanewone » Sun May 01, 2022 9:55 pm

When you go into surgery should you come out of surgery the same size or are you always
Smaller? Right surgeon… right size?

Do you have to grow into your new size?

Thanks for the info.

First you need to define the size before surgery. VED size, med size, healthy youth size, ....... Right after surgery you will have a lot of swelling and be largest for a while. After the swelling goes down you will be at what ever inflation level your doctor left you at. 50-80%. When your are activated and start cycling (inflating and deflating) you will be close to the size you were left inflated to. As time and cycling continues you will soften the material of the implant, stretch the tissue, and get hopefully to 100% inflation. With that happening you will be at what size you will have mostly. You may have very slow very small gains for 1-2 years or more. But a lot depends on the doctor and size loss from ED. And if you do stretching before surgery. Most recommend VED therapy.

You'll come out smaller. People here say that's related to a bad surgeon. People here are wrong. You have to grow into your new size by your exercising. Research indicates that your new size being larger than your pre-implant size is likely.

I was 8.75" going in and came out 6.5". After about one month when your doctor first activates it and you can start cycling (pumping it), you can start to get your size back. This is when you start exercising it. I exercised it a lot. A whole lot. Use a VED. Do a lot of stretching, pulling, twisting, etc.

After about two months post-surgery, I was back to over 7". Three months back to 8". After six months I'm getting stretched flaccid over 9", but the biggest erection sizes I can get are about 8.6" or so.

I believe I will have a bigger dick than I did pre-surgery, but I don't know that. We'll see.

I never measured myself before my operation. But looking at my inflated dick now, I look the same size as I recall my hard on being before ED.

An experienced, credible surgeon should size you correctly. In the year+ that I have been inflating and deflating on a daily basis, I haven't noticed a change in my size.

What's most important is to have a hard dick. If you can't get or keep it up, size doesn't matter, does it.

Thanks for replies. I can’t really use VED. I had a hernia repair years ago and when the pump pulls it pulls my repair to a painful stretch. I don’t want to re-injure the repair. I don’t think I have a smaller size due to ED because I’ve used meds for 2 years. I wonder if my size will hold post surgery since I don’t think I’ve had shrinkage since I’ve only had this 2 hrs. A long 2 years so to speak…. :D :D

Once I was able to start cycling the implant (one month), my size post-op was was (give or take a millimeter or 2 or 1/8 inch) the same as immediately pre-op. Note: I was able to get a full erection pre-op. It never stayed and required continuous vigorous stimulation and oral medication, but I was able to measure length (in length-by lack of foresight I did not measure girth).

I had the same result as Lost Sheep, and I think it all depends on your doctor and whether you had Peyronies.
It all helps, and I even picked up about a CM.

I had bi-lateral hernia surgery a few years ago and have no problem using a VED. I have been using it twice a day for 30 minutes at a time and have been doing so since January. My surgery is set for July 7th. Maybe don't use that much pressure. I have a gauge on mine and try not to go over 7 psi.
