What’s the future going to be?

Postby Confusedjourney » Wed Mar 23, 2022 6:53 am

There are 250000 of us. But as shockwave therapy becomes perfected in the next 5 years or so, are they going to be here for the next implant round 10 years or so or are we going to be a forgotten less marketable group. I know this is a crazy question LOL , sorry.

Shockwave therapy isnt the be all end all solution you think it is. There are plenty of scenarios where that wouldnt help at all. I believe implant will always remain as the final solution but there will be more options before reaching that in the future.

Where are the men that shockwave successfully cured? I only hear success claims from the shockwave promoters. Sounds like a scam to me.

Im surprised shockwave isn’t getting called out for being a huge scam. I threw $3k away on a couple of fake docs in Cleveland and, obviously, nothing happened. I would argue that it made my ED worse

The ads around here claim increased blood flow. To me it doesn't make sense to fix a leak with more flow. Just reeks of a fraud to me.
If a faucet leaks? Do you open it more to stop the leak?

Shockwave absolutely made my VL and Peyronie's worse, finally leading to an implant. A "cure" that is inherently flawed to begin with won't be "perfected" in the coming years.

It’s definitely currently a scam but I heard that there’s another type that’s currently being researched. I think it’s what’s used for kidney stones. It’s different than what’s being sold by some drs now.

Some group pushing the sonic-pulsewave men's cure where I live. As a former medical therapist who has used all sorts of electronic devices designed to heal or enhance tissue growth, this is something that always makes me laugh.
When I went to the Men's ED Clinic the first-time years ago, the doctor ran an Ultra-Sound over my penis. It was a basic US system with no screen so what the heck could that tell him? Zip, but he ordered me Trimix anyway. Scam.
Hoping the future holds many advancements in IPP surgery and devices. I've heard a remote operated device is in development at this time. Pump and reservoir implanted in abdomen, key fob to activate.
Go ahead, push my button! LOL

If one has a small leak that allows collapse of an erection, you cannot cure the leak, but if you increase inflow by more than the outflow of the leak, you can avoid the collapse. Essentially, you "overpower" the leak.

Unfortunately, this has a fairly high likelihood, over time, of increasing the leak. Leading to eventual return of E.D.

I get that. I point to the loss of effectiveness of the oral ED treatments. I highly doubt that it improves flow into the penis. Several members have posted that it wasn't effective. Btw, I didn't read any of them say that it did work but wore off in a year.
