How long before…

Hi guys;

Just trying to plan post op - can you give me an idea of how long before:

- you could drive
- wear a suit ( to work )
- went back to the gym
- you had sex / masturbated
- you stopped taking pain meds
- you could sit in a chair ( at work ) with little to no discomfort

I am just two weeks in, so can’t answer all your questions. However, my first two weeks have not been bad. I have not had any real pain, just periods of discomfort, not comfortable sitting usually toward the end of the day, etc. I was able to walk around the city a few blocks 2 days after. I drove 6 hours home myself 5 days after. I never took any pain meds, no oxy or ibuprofen at all- I have never had more than annoying discomfort. Depending on how inflated your doctor suggests you should be, you should be able to wear a suit if not inflated more than 50%. I have been inflating everyday for about a week and the worse pain I have is the pump is so stiff, I am really pinching my testicals trying to compress the pump. I have been doing this in a hot shower and seems to help some.

I could have driven the day after surgery if I needed to. For a short distance.

I do not work or wear suits. This is a good question to a doctor you are considering for this.

I was on a 10lb. weightlifting restriction for weeks. I can not remember how long it was before I was cleared for exercise.

I was cleared for sex at 4 weeks.

I did not use narcotic pain meds much as I do not like them. And I refused them at my first surgery and did not try them until my flight home. They did not work until my plane touched down at home. I never took them after that.

I do remember that setting for the flights (I had one lay over) home were not pleasant. I am sure folks could tell something was wrong. As I said I do not work but would guess that for me it would have been before 2 weeks post op.
