You need to get in to see a doctor and find out what is going on. I had a perforation of my Crus on the left side but I had different symptoms. I pointed to the left from the base of my shaft as the proximal (RTE end) of that cylinder was out of the Crus and not supported. It caused me pain when I had sex with a women and my penis was pushed into my body. I could feel the difference in the cylinders when I followed them down from the base of my shaft under my scrotum.

But you really need to get in to have this looked at and find out what is going on.

I spent the night at the hospital after my first surgery and the next morning when my cath was removed and my penis was let go it flopped to the left lying flat. I had other issues including only one cylinder inflating and my first doctor really did not want to see me back for an evaluation. I was able to get the cylinder inflating resolved with help from AMS rep after the surgeon advised he had no idea what to do other than shaking the pump. I had the left pointing and had to adjust the way I had sex. Size increased and I limped it along as my local doctors did not do repairs or revisions. I went to my Gastro doctor and had a CT scan that showed the problem, but the CT report did not identify it. I could follow my cylinders down and feel the left one closer to the surface. I was able to capture and print the image and take it to my local uro. I had a clause in my insurance policy that if the service was not available in network I could go out of network. My local Uro tried to send me to TX doctor, but they did not except self-pay insurance. Tried a Georgia doctor with no luck either. My local doctor was little help after the first TX doctor. I went to insurance many time and finally they opened up an area in my state with a doctor I considered for my first surgery. Went to that doctor who is at KU Med in KC and is a teaching hospital and he accepted me for a teaching subject. He followed my cylinders down and brought others in to feel the difference so they would know what to check for. Covid canceled my first surgery for this and I had the repair in April of last year. You can do a search on Proximal perforation sling repair. The doctor just pulled the left cylinder and made a sling like a stirrup on a saddle to support the end of the cylinder. He did not repair the perforation, nor did he replace any parts. Just put the cylinder back in.

Because I am having the exact same issue that you are describing. When I follow my fingers down the underside of my shaft I can feel the cylinder on the left just stop at the base of my penis. When i touch that area I can feel exposed tubing about an inch wide. Wtf. It hasn’t caused pain yet but that’s probably because I haven’t started having sex yet. I’m almost positive this isn’t right though. Does this mean I will definitely have to go under the knife again to get it fixed? Would it require a full revision?

You can read the doctors names in my signature at the bottom of my post. if you have a good doctor in your area he or she should be able to check that for you. When I was working on being sent out of area and taking to well-known doctors the information from them was to replace my 21cm LGX with either a Titan or a CX. But the doctor my insurance finally agreed to just pulled my left cylinder and made the sling for it and put it back in. Seems that doctors under pressure from insurance (BCBSKS) will do anything to not have payment for a device.

You should let your doctor know about it now. The distal ends of the cylinders are pulled up into the glans. The proximal ends are not so it is possible one did not go down as far as it should. It then may be worked down to where it should be with inflations and manipulation.

I saw Dr. Kramers name in your signature line but wasn’t sure if he was the doctor who initially implanted you. So sorry to hear about what you’ve had go through. Did the sling and the replacing the left cylinder resolve all your issues? How invasive was the surgery, did you have to go under anesthesia again ? Was it as painful and as lengthy a recovery as the initial implant or was it more like a small in and out type of procedure?

I’m really hoping it can be fixed with inflations and manipulations but knowing my luck ill need another surgery. The other forum I’ve been on has mostly nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kramer but after my experience and reading the experience of others on here I’m not so sure how great he is. Maybe I’m passing judgement too early idk but i wish I had found this forum sooner because I made have chosen another surgeon based on what I’ve read here.

Sorry to be unclear but none of the components were replaced in my repair. The 3-year-old left cylinder was removed then put back in. The doctor that did the repair had a 6 week wait for reactivation compared to my slightly under 3 week (19 days as advised by my first surgeon).

If you would like to talk send me a PM and I will give you my phone number. I have had contact with a half dozen men in the past 4 years in regards to problems with my first surgeon and there were others farther back than that. Seems most of the time he is very good and men that go to him have great results, but he does have men that have problems.
