Did anyone get a larger implant than the injection size?

So i got an injection today, but the injection didn't really work correctly and i only got a semi. Dr. Eid then did a stretch test with the semi and determined that that would be my implant size. The size he gave me was waaay smaller than I expected.

Is there a chance that this is undersized and that I will actually have a larger implant?

The measurement that is used to determine your implant size is taken when you're sedated & your penis has been cut open. I would think that most well experienced surgeons can guess within a few cm's of your implanted length.
Remember, the implant length is only part of your length. They can "fine tune" that by using RTE's. In Dr Eid's case. He is willing to trim a slightly long cylinder's length to make it fit so that he uses fewer RTE's.
Eid is a seasoned pro. I would suggest to not worry about his sizing. FWIW, I think I read of a patient of his that was sized just a very slightly too long. I believe that his implant settled in a little so it wasn't a long term issue. But Eid was willing to revise it a bit shorter if his body continued to not like the implant. Btw, I'm guessing the problem was less than 1cm.

I was also operated by Eid and didn’t get a full erection with the injection. He also did the stretch test and the measurement wasn’t as long as what I was used to with a blood filled erection before the operation (high dosage of viagra and constant stimulation made me get an erection for seconds).
I ended up with the length I had naturally. So the result exceeded the strech test.

Eid (arguably the best penile implant surgeon alive) will put the largest and the right implant in you and you will not lose size. It’s also what data suggest. The important measurement happens in the op room.

I think you might be interested in this description in my "Full Operative Report":

The corpora were then dilated and measured simultaneously with a Furlow instrument. The proximal measurements were 10 cm and distal measurements were 13 cm for a total of 23 cm. The decision was made to proceed with a 22 cm implant with 1 cm rear tip extenders. The implant was prepped on the back table based on the manufacturer recommendations. The Keith needle and Furlow instrument were then used to seat the implant. Once the implant was seated, rapid inflation demonstrated good cosmetic result with the tips in the mid glans. No buckling or crossover. We decided to upgrade it to 1.5 cm rear tips and the cosmetic look was better.

As you can see, the implant was sized based on actual measurements into my actual penis. And in addition, he inflated the implant, checked the result, and then added another 0.5 cm. Dr. Eid is a good, high-volume doc (as is my doc), so most likely he will take the same level of care.
