Has anyone ever been denied an implant?
Has anyone ever been denied an implant due to their type of ed? Is there any type of physical ed that invalidates you from getting an implant?

I believe most men are candidates for implants. There are several men on here who have psychological ED and were able to get implanted. I do not know of any medical obstacles that prevent men from being implanted.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Short answer. I have not read of a FT member that was denied an implant due to the type of ED they had. I have read of a member that Dr. Eid recommended injections to be followed with an implant at a later date. As I recall he was on the younger side. This strategy likely would save him 1 revision in his lifetime.
You need to remember that implants have been around a very long time. Thus the makers have pretty much designed an implant for almost every man that can tolerate the surgery.

If you mean by insurance, insurance is kind of a pain in the ass with implants. I ended up having to pay it on my own…..but I’m hopeful that I can write a bunch of it off on my taxes.
47 year old swinger. Had 36+ hour priapism that landed me in ER twice over 48 hours. Scarring in my penis makes it to where I’m at risk of severe priapism at any time. Erections inconsistent. Implanted by Dr. Eid on December 21st 2021, Coloplast Titan OTR

I knew a guy who was denied the implant due to massive fibrosis
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years

I saw three urologists who all said no to an implant , one suggested I do nothing, one suggested a Nesbit and the other shockwave therapy. My fourth uro didn’t hesitate and could not believe what I had previously been told.
I have my pre op bloods next week and I would assume I could still be rejected if they come back abnormal ie high HBA1c and my diabetes

Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.

Let me guess. One didn't do implants or peyronies sugeries. One didn't do implants but did do peyronies sugeries. One had a shockwave machine & needed to make the payments.
Your final uro understands that implants are considered the "gold standard" for peyronies. HBA1C under 7 is preferred but I've read of men getting implants with over 7 readings. I want to say he was around 8. I think it depends upon you doctors opinion, maybe even your health insurance gets a say in it. Good luck.
