For the rigidity issue, I would like to experiment with simple rubber bands before I use the tighter cock rings. bur where do I wear the rubberbands? At the shaft, there is tubing all over. Plus, in my unique case there is a protrusion of tubing on the right hand side above the shaft. Plus, my penis being thin, there is hardly any place besides the tubing.
I feel we could damage the tubing by wearing any kind of compression on top of it.
So where do I place the bands?

From your signature I see that your surgeon performed a Penoscrotal Incision, so you should have close to zero tubes around the base of your shaft. Are you sure that it wasn't an infrapubic incision instead?
