Post op day 19, 20cm titan w/Eid

Pretty much all my pain is going away but I have a persistent pain near the end of the shaft where there is a crease poking out the side, just under the head. It gives a pressure point and it feels like it’s lighting up my whole tip. The pain goes away during cycling but returns once I deflate.

Eid says he aggressively sized me, barely getting in the 20 cm

I cannot answer for your doctor and this is something you should ask him about. I can make an observation to maybe give you my way of looking at this to help you when contacting your doctor. If you look at the pictures of the Titan (and the LGX that I have) you can see the distal end of the cylinders are hard and tapered. During inflation my hard distal cylinder tip go farther up into my glans and when deflated they move in toward my body or more proximal. So the hard larger shoulder of the distal end at the inflatable portion of the cylinder is moving in the area you are writing about. As we are all different it is best that you speak with you doctor about this as he is the one who placed the cylinders and made room for them.

I have an AMS CX, but when I first started cycling, and trying to go for the max inflate, after a few minutes my right cylinder tip would begin to hurt and the pain level would increase as the minutes went on. Then, 15 to 20 minutes would be it, because it just hurt too much. I addressed this with my surgeon twice. He would examine me inflated and told me to hang in there, it would get better and that the pain came from the cylinder stretching my dick. He was right. Now at about 7 months, I can easily stay max inflated over an hour before it even starts to ache at all. That's just my experience, for what it's worth. Good luck.

Almost three weeks in, I have kept my penis pointing straight up in my underwear the entire time, hoping as the implant scarred in, I would keep that nice upward angle when inflated. I suspect if I bent it downwards the pressure point from the crease would ease up.

The question is, how long should the penis stay in the upward position to ensure it is scarred in for a nice upwards angle for the long term?

Well this depends on your doctor. Neither of my doctors said it was necessary to keep my penis pointed upward after surgery. So I guess this is really the same answer I gave that you need to ask your doctor and tell him what is going on.

There is a medical term Glans Hypermobility. This is most commonly used for floppy glans but relates to a lot more. The term is used to address problems of the glans position on the ends of the cylinders or in floppy glans the lack of this. So improper placement is also covered with this term. Weather one cylinder is shorter than the other or if one or both cylinder tips are not centered in the proper area. A severe example is a cross over. But I do not think you have that.

I had trouble with this in a different way than you do. I had one cylinder that would not inflate or at best would only inflate after the one cylinder was inflated to max. This caused the cylinder that inflated first to move to the outside and low. And when the second cylinder did inflate it moved to the center. So if someone was facing me and looking at the head of my penis the tip of the right cylinder (my left cylinder) was at 4 o'clock on the 4 at the outside and the left cylinder(my right cylinder) was ar 10 o'clock near the center. And I had some pain and a bump from the hard shoulder at 4 o'clock.

Now again I am not your doctor and doctors do differ a bunch. Even the top doctors are different on many things. So I would again say to contact your doctor about this and explain to him what is going on and do as he advises. He is way more qualified than me or others on this site and he did the surgery and knows way more about you and your implant.

Now all that being said, I did my own modeling to help my problem. After the only one cylinder inflating was mostly resolved, I would hold my glans in the proper position over the tips of the cylinders and inflate one handed. When the pumps required two hands I would pump once and then pull the glans away from the cylinder tips and then move them back on the tips in what I thought was correct location. I am not saying this is what you should do. Rather giving you something to ask your doctor about as it seems to be what you are saying is the tips of your cylinders are low and you think they need to be more in the middle.

I don’t think my problem goes so far as displaced tips. What I have is a bend just before the tips before they head into my glans, a dog ear/crease or if you will, that puts pressure on the side of my penis and hurts only when deflated. I can feel my tips and they are perfectly centered in my cockhead. I spoke to Dr. Eid and he reassured me that the creases would soften over the next few months. In the meantime when I fully inflate everything is straight and even as an arrow.

I’m going to try positioning the penis downward and see if that relieves a little bit of the point tenderness.

I had surgery with Dr. Eid and the only discomfor that lasted more than 2 weeks was the tips. I too was concerned but it gradually went away after about 6 weeks. It felt like the tips were sticking to the inside of my penis…Give it time.
