I am just over 5months post op and loving my implant. I have grown in length since initial inflation and I am now approx 6" which I am happy with... although it wont stop me trying for more through an already successful cycling regime.
However due to my condition my glands only fully engorge a minute or two before ejaculation. They do engorge during arousal, but not fully.
I have been prescribed Vitaros gel/cream by my doctor who thinks this is a good option for me. I was wondering if anyone here has any expierience with Vitaros.;
Pros and cons
Is it expensive
Does it work etc
I would really appreciate any insight.
Best Wishes,
Patrick

Re: Vitaros cream
I used it before my implant (when pills stopped working but before I moved to injections)
Did nothing at all for me, Also you're not supposed to have oral sex if you use the cream which is another issue.
In the UK it was around £15 per dose (so more expensive than pills)

Re: Vitaros cream
@Jpcfrank, thanks for your response. It hasn't gotten any cheaper... approx £60 for 4 applications! I did ask my dr about other engorgement options, however he advised I give this a go.
I am always willing to try something once so we will see. But long term I think a low dose of ed pills might be the better option. Pre implant I took 100mg ED tablets and suffered badly with headache , heartburn etc, however a lower dose for gland engorgement might work.
Best wishes,
Patrick

Re: Vitaros cream
One of the main reason my wife remarked was how cold the head felt and possibly not engorged 100% I love the product ! I only use on special occasions when planned. You have to use the gel 20 mins before you want action. It really increased sensitivity there and best price I’ve found is from a company called menmd they are very inexpensive and good to have for that rockstar moment! Good luck

@raycaba , thank you for your reply.
Do you know when this drug was approved in the Usa? I seen it initially took time for fda approval.
Do you find pills work at all for engorgement?
Many Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Vitaros cream
Hi Patrick,
I have the lgx too, 3 months post op, pretty much same as you. Poor glans engorgement.
I use 4 short rubber bands over the top of one another as a cock ring after full inflation, for glans inflation.
It does the job, try something like that, I bet you will be surprised.

LeRoast- I will give it a try and see how I get on. I definetly want to try this cream too as even pre implant I did get a good engorgement response from pills ,just never hard enough unfortunately. However I think over the next few months I should be able to work out what works for me.
Best wishes

Re: Vitaros cream
So the "cream" is really available in the US now (vs the suppository)?? Both substances go into the urethra hole. This almost certainly beats getting a bladder scoping (don't ask me how I know this).
Does the suppository also disallow oral (seems like if you can't get it up first, the oral is going to be a bit of a downer)?

ED since mid '20, with slight Peyronies. Thus begins a search for the right solution(s); 56yo a/o Sep '21. Three months into my quest (12/21), I think PT-141, Cialis/tadalafil 20mg and L-Arginine (maybe other herbs) are a winning formula. For now.
