Flaccid VS Erect
I got AMS 700 CX 5 days ago. Dr unwrapped it 4 days ago and deflated, which appeared (at the time) to be same size as inflated. But in a day's time, penis seems to have gotten shorter. Question is, does penis get longer when pumped up and shorter when deflated with these devices?

Re: Flaccid VS Erect
I can’t tell you first hand what a CX does, I have the LGX.
But one thing I do know, from having lived thru the experience. You really don’t need to let anything you’re seeing with respect to size cause upset or alarm over the first few weeks of recovery.
A week into the healing process I was 2, maybe 2 1/2 inches shorter and was thinking hmmmmm WTF?
Healing happens. Swelling subsides. You see more of your dick when it does. You start cycling with the pump. It does cause things to stretch just like the Dr. said it would.
On day four or five, I was thinking train wreck. I felt ok, I was healing, but the size of my package did not reflect in any way what I had before or a year and a half later.
Short answer: quit worrying about the size and focus on healing and do what your doctor recommends. A full recovery is gonna solve a lot of your concerns.

Thank you as well. I have the LGX and my concern was/is will my flaccid size be the same as my erect size. Any feedback?

If your LGX is like mine your flaccid will be bigger than it was before but erect will be even bigger. In other words your now a shower.

Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, an AMS rep, or a gypsy fortune teller. Your results may vary but I’m testifying honestly as to my results.
I was skeptical about cycling (how in the hell can it make that much difference?) but lo and behold, doing what the doc said got me where I need to be.
With the LGX, I see maybe 1 1/4” difference between flaccid & erect. Soft I’m about 5 1/4. Erect I’m right close to 6 1/2. No porn producers are knocking at my door but as far as I’m concerned, any additional cock would be superfluous.
The only disappointment has been the AMS girth, I lost half an inch from 6” to 5 1/2”. That being said, this thing is hard enough to drive nails and the hardness has increased my sensation levels markedly. I used to deal with having to pound like a jackhammer to maybe get enough stimulation to cum. Nowadays that’s not an issue.

Encouraging feedback. I'm 7 days in now. Cycling in about a week.

Help us help you. We need some specifics. How much longer? How much were you inflated post-op? Can you inflate fully now? Your surgery was August 5 and your unwrapping date was August 6 (a Friday) or 7th?
I have seen photographs of a CX-implanted penis that went from 3.5 inches to 5 inches (the CX is not supposed to be "lengthening" as the LGX is designed to be). The Coloplast can "lengthen" by way of accordion-like wrinkling in the cylinder walls.
Note that you may still have significant swelling still.
Did you document your erect (as much as was possible by whatever means necessary) your size before surgery (precise measurement and photographs) ?
Help us help you.

I have no measurements and no pictures. Just hoped someone might be able to answer an extremely yes or no simple question. Guess not. Thank you for your response.

Perhaps I was not clear enough in the second paragraph of my post to your question.
I think I gave a pretty specific answer to a pretty vague question. Let me summarize:
Yes. it happens.
Factors that may affect the yes/no nature of the answer were left out of your question. So, I submit that your question is neither simple nor binary.
