Young Bionic guys

Postby aslanglobal » Mon Jun 28, 2021 11:32 am

This is a post to all implanted guys but specifically towards younger ones.
How did you deal with the psychological element of being told you needed an implant?
I can understand guys in their 40s,50,s and 60s being accepting and happy to get an implant
But for those of us who have suffered injuries in our 20's or 30's, this can be tougher. I always have
taken pride in my masculinity and consider myself a man that works to embody the best traits
of traditional masculinity. After this priaprism injury, my dick just never worked the same. It strikes me
at my core. I don't know whether to be embarrassed or to feel fortunate?

In previous eras, I would not have had access to this technology. But also in previous areas, I would not have been given
trazadone and then Trimix, which created serious physical injuries. So I have no idea how to make sense of this.

Someone who was implanted 30 years ago because of an injury as well told me, "just get it done and enjoy your life"

I'm only 43 but if injections didn't work for me I'd definitely get an implant.
Having good sex is required for me to have a happy life.
No sex=alone and miserable.
So any fix is better than being alone an miserable.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

Don't overthink it, because when you have not yet had an implant you don't really know what the results after life will like after. I went through many of the same thoughts, so I just started trusting the word of guys who have had it done before me. You will have some poor results, especially when searching (those w poor results tend to come to the internet to look for help). What you will find though is that the overwhleming majority make it simple, they say "My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. I am 3 days out from my implant, there were some minor "wtf am I doing/wtf did I do" moments. But sitting here at home day 3, I feel like a million bucks. Almost no pain, can pump and deflate easy peasy, I feel like I could go back to work tomorrow. I am not going to, but just how good this process has been so far. Entering the dating world will be a whole new journey, but anything beats a dicks that barely or rarely works. We are still in our prime, no more wasting it away. Being masculine means optimizing yourself in every way possible. This is how we do it.
Age 37. Venous Leakage & Post Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) since age 18.

Aspire to be someone who voluntarily confronts his problems with the discipline to do what is needed. Do your research so you understand the tradeoffs. Understand what you will be getting (pros/cons/risks) vs. your current functionality, your emotional state, and options other than implants (drugs, injections). IMHO, an implant is the most reliable of the options but nothing feels better than your own blood filled penis aching for release.

Good luck on your journey
