Yes if you can't hold an erection that is depressing. Knowing you can get and keep an erection whenever you want is a huge ego boost. I've always been a have to have sex often guy, but with ED it slowed down. With my implant my sex drive is back to 99%.

I honestly think the situation with most guys with severe ED isn't necessarily "LOW LIBIDO" or the desire to have sex but rather an emotionally suppressed libido because you know you can't so you subconsciously block those desires to avoid the emotional pain of failure in something that is an integral part of the male psyche.

I buried myself in everything I could, all sorts of side-projects such as my computers, programming, electronics projects, origami, all sorts of crafts, tried to learn bass guitar, etc. in the twenty years I had my suppressed libido. During that time when the sexual pressures got too much to handle, I would secretly and shamefully slip into the bathroom or wait until my wife was asleep and wank to relieve the pressures. Of course it was beating a "wet noodle" but whatever. Anytime my wife wanted affection or a kind word or caress, I couldn't and when she asked why I didn't make love to her anymore, I had to explain that I couldn't. She never believed that and thought it was my feelings for her.

After my implant surgery, we had some awkward starts as I learned how to have sex again for an obese couple. I've now got my mojo back and I'm the romantic guy she married 39 years ago with one big exception - I don't go down after one good shot. She likens me to the Eveready Bunny. Now my mojo/libido/desire is so much higher than pre-implant times that she has included her girlfriend in the list of those who enjoy my newly revived libido.

My uro Dr. prescribed Cabergoline and suggested Yohimbe. I think she was right because it helped.

If you haven’t had your testosterone checked you need to it can affect your libido.

In my case the implant didn't affect my libido. My urologist recommended that I stop T injections. My libido crashed and I never even bothered to inflate. When I felt I should have sex with my wife (she does like sex sometimes), I was like a robot and didn't have my heart in it.

I also felt like I'd aged at least 5 years and started the shots again.
My wife asked if my implant had been broken.

My implant had no effect on my libido. Libido was gone before the implant and it never came back. And no, it wasn't due to testosterone.
