Pain on cycling implant

Postby wewokarents » Thu Feb 04, 2021 5:31 pm

Today I did my first implant cycling. All I can say is it hurts. Has anyone else experienced this? :?
Implant 1/28/2021. Dr Stephen A Johnson. Done at Baylor, Scott and White in Sherman, Texas. TRT since 2005, serious ED from 2004. Used nearly all PDE5 drugs. Injections failed. Started cycling at 1 week. Cycle most days. AMS 700 CX 23cm, 100ml reservoir.

wewokarents,
Yes, your body is going to get accustom to the implant. Be patient, but above all don't stop cycling. Chances are, the corporal cavernosa have not been expanded/engorged in some time. Should you decide to not "pump-your-penis", you will loose some length.... and that's not a good thing. short term pain, long term gain,
If you have other thoughts, PM me.

I've been doing 1-hour daily cycling since post-op week 6 and I'm at 9+ months now. My surgeon's recommendation from the beginning was to only squeeze the bulb as many times as I could until I felt on the threshold of pain. Now I'm at the point where I can inflate close to 100% before I feel pain. But keep in mind that it was a very GRADUAL ramping up. Stay the course, brother!
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.

What does your surgeon say about why you are still having pain from cycling after 2 years?

Thanks! I think, in retrospect, that I just overdid it.
