Hi Guys,
I have a question. What have been the key indicators for you that it was time to have sex after your surgery?
As of right now, all I know is that I"m going back to my doc next Wednesday to be deflated. And then I'm supposed to go back four weeks later, and he will show me how to inflate and deflate. I'm not supposed to try to inflate myself during those four weeks.
Have your docs set any other criteria for when you were ready to have sex?
Thanks.

Re: Time to Have Sex
Exterior incisions have to heal completely. You don't want vaginal (or other) flora getting into surgical wounds.
Interior incisions have to heal as well. Sex puts a strain on tissues and if you tear open any of the layers of incisions and stitching, you might have to undergo another operation, possibly serious operation to repair the damage.
Your surgeon has seen the condition of your tissues and observed how fragile they are (or strong) and will have an idea of how much strain and stress they and the sutures/stitching could take. Follow your surgeon's advice strictly.
There is no sense in getting sex a few days or weeks early at the risk of months of healing damage incurred by the early gratification.

Listen to your doctor. You and Time2Change Jr have been through alot and you don't want to mess up the progress.
Even when I was cleared for 'the deed' there was a bit of a pain with the cylinders pushing against the glans. It's gotten alot better with each go.
