Postby proctor » Thu Aug 27, 2020 2:53 pm

Its 10 pm now. If I dont, walk for such a long time, will it be an issue? My op started at 4 pm by the way. Also when do you remove the cathetar? Its the most irrigating thing on earth.

If you have access to the internet, (which apparently, you do) you can use Google Translate to go from English to Turkish

for example
Is there anyone here who can translate my english to turkish?
Burada ingilizcemi türkçeye çevirebilecek kimse var mı?

Good luck.

Yes, stay in bed until the nurses or doctor come and tell you otherwise. I don't expect it will be more than 24 hours in bed...was almost exactly that for me. They will remove the catheter once they are ready to start prepping you to go home, and you will need to demonstrate that you can urinate on your own after it's out (can be challenging post surgery). Do not touch or move your catheter, you can injure yourself or cause an infection.

I'm not a doctor, so none of this is medical advice, but I just had surgery 2 days ago, and this is the stuff the nurses told me. :)

Best of luck!!

Which brand of implant did Dr.Kramer install? Rigicon Infla 10X or Infla 10AX?
A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.

Every surgery I ever had, and I have had a lot, I go through those shivers and shakes. One time they thought I was going into shock. Kind of a PTSD. You will come through it.

Main thing is that you don't want to strain when passing stool. I was able to lower myself into a squatting position after getting home, and while it was a little uncomfortable, it didn't cause any pain. Definitely have something you can hold on to if you're going to use a squatting toilet, your body may want to move a little differently due to the surgery, and you don't want to fall over.

Yea, just don't strain too hard. As soon as my catheter was out I sat to do both jobs.
I had the shivers and shakes too. After surgery and for a couple months on and off. Night sweats too, some nights I could soak 2 t-shirts and still wake up damp.
