I'm trying to decide on the next implant. Currently I've a failed LGX AMS 700 21cm+4RTE. After talking to various surgeons, including dr. Kramer and Dr. Christine, I have 2 options:
Option 1- Get a AMS CX 24cm + possible smaller RTE.
Option 2 - Or, a titan coloplast.
With the AMS, there is a "chance" that I could get reimbursed by Boston Scientific for the implant. Again, it would be up to the mercy of Boston Scientific. In the case of the the coloplast, there is no warranty.
I appreciate all advice.

Consider what I've read other people state though:
- Titan pump is apparently smaller and less blocky than the AMS MS pump (but button is on side)
- Titan apparently has a lifetime warranty (if Coloplast deems the warranty is valid for a replacement)
- AMS has a shorter warranty than Coloplast, something like 5 years (not sure).

Re: Need advice: titan coloplast vs AMS CX for revision
I just had a revision from titan to ams. Insurance did not seem to care about a warranty period. Doc got pre approval and pre determination of payment to make switch. Going from one to other was not an issue.
I initially qualified. Stopped working. Remove and replace covered.
I like the ams cylinders but hate the size of pump. Liked titan pump but did not like hardness of cylinders.
Big criteria is no rtes. My titan had 18 cm cylinders plus 1 rte for 19 total. This equates to 6 cm non inflatable part. A replacement with titan might have been doable with a 20 cm titan cylinder. 5 cm non inflatable.
Ams replacement I got 18 cm cylinders plus 2 rtes for 20 total. This gives me 4.5 plus 2 rtes, so 6.5 non inflatable.
So on my revision I actually ended up with .5 more rte with the doc using the ams. Cylinders though are a lot more comfortable than the titan.
Both titan and ams have issues and both pros and cons.
My only issue was to get my erection back.

18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
