Need bionic brotherhood advice

Postby Pamen116 » Fri Mar 13, 2020 10:25 am

Good morning -

I hope this post finds everyone well. Lately I’ve been contemplating my 2nd revision. I’ve had 3 surgery’s in the last year in a half on my member. The 1st was from the initial surgery for penile fracture which was the beginning of 2019. The 2nd was my first IPP in Oct 2019, installed here in San Antonio TX with rising pump and floppy glands. Finally my 3rd was a revision on Jan 2020 in Maryland Baltimore where now my issue is a possible aneurism or twisted left cylinder. I’ve posted a few photos before where most just compared how good my penis looked in comparison to theirs and said I should be happy.

Right now I am as far as from happy that I can be. If anything I’ve been suicidal (haven’t acted anything out, but thinking constantly about not wanting to live anymore) apart from my IPP issues, I have a mother who just got cancer and a brother that I lost all in the beginning of this year. I don’t have a love life anymore and sleep all day as I’m currently on leave from work due to my mental state. Most UROS in my area refuse to see me because they stated that I’m going to have a lot of issues and revisions in the future and they basically just don’t want to deal with it..

The Problem
My current IPP had a kink in the base lift cylinder which now at 6-7 weeks post op has become a hard knot that pokes out of my left corpra. This knot prevents full inflation and when fully deflated does not go away. When I inflate actually around 13 pumps I can feel the left cylinder base only filling up and on the back side of my penis (the side that would face the ground if I was standing up) has a bump that is continuously growing- the right cylinder is perfect, I haven’t had any issues with it, it actually healed like the 2nd week completely.
- I don’t know what to do moving forward as idk if the cycling is making it worse
- I don’t really trust the surgeon who did it last as I can tell he only cares for $$ after talking with him he just said “sorry wish I knew what it was, but let’s just do a revision” as if there isnt any risk

I’m so young, idk if getting my 2nd revision before my 30s and this being my 4th surgery in 2 yrs is worth it or smart like what if this thing breaks in two months that’s 5 surgeries in two years idk as a young man the ramifications for this. I’ve thought about going Semi Rigid (Rigicon) (no infection rate and it’s chances of malfunction is like 0 because it’s just a 1 piece, but I’ve heard people HATE it- and come back and swap back to a inflatable (Is this true?) I just don’t know if being so young with a type A personality and being sexually active that this will work for ME specifically (I can’t get no clear feedback on the malleable at all, like girth retention, sex stability when penetrating) I have so many questions that are not on FT.

What should I do moving forward? The money aspect is huge since I won’t be having insurance soon and need to find a provider who will cover my IPP revisions (any provider suggestions that anyone knows of that I can call, please let me know)

Sorry this post is so long and not really concise, my main ask is advice moving forward. If you were in my shoes 27, 3 rd surgery in 2 years, losing time with coverage for IPP, and trying to decide between malleable or 3 piece, what would you do?

Please, if you like to just thoughtlessly provide feedback or just talk about how good your implant has been please refrain from posting on this thread- I really need help at this moment.

Thank You all/ God bless

Pat

Pamen,
Cool down and breathe.
You had your revision with renowned surgeon , one of 3 the bests and you are not satisfied with the result. I am sorry, but something is wrong with you. No wonder why no urologist wants to see you.
Do you really know what you want and what result should be?
You are waisted your time and money.
What would I give to be 26 again?

Thanks MK, your words for someone who’s in a crisis and is at a all time low are very encouraging.

Indeed, please step back a moment. You are okay, man. You've encountered a few potholes in the road - and I get it; believe me I do.

You will overcome. You need to sit and use your mind. If you no longer have confidence in your surgeon - he ain't the only tack in the pack. It is probably unwise to continue if you no longer believe in this practitioner. Young Sir - - you have choices. And that is good.

Keep in touch with your Brothers on this Board. I'm only a few days in, but I can tell you it's a good group of caring Brothers.

Godspeed.

I have a LGX and also experienced the pain from the tubes at the left base sticking out. Mine is much more pronounced than your pictures. It takes time to heal and get used to. Give it time. Your surgeon is one of the best in the US. At 78, I have a lot of pain just getting out of bed. Why don't you take some Tylenol or Aleve on a regular basis and just let it all adjust. Also maybe you are playing with it too much. Give it a rest man. It gets much better. Not as good as the original, but it is all we have now. "Nothing beats a solid blood filled cock"

Harsh MK, harsh...

I swear I wrote a really, really long response and submitted, but its a computer, so it is in cyberspace.
Pamen116, take a breath. I am sorry for your loss and your mother coming down with cancer.
Regarding suicidal thoughts, just don't do it. Who will take care of your mother once you are gone?
Pics you posted look nice, but pain is internal. Is the pain you are feeling from kink somewhat alleviated when pumped, but is worse when deflated? you may just want to pump and leave this way for a bit until you cycle again. You dick is getting used to
Dr. that you are dealing with does not have a very good bedside manner. He just wants to do the implant, and forget it. Keep looking. How do you know that the Drs don't want to deal with you? Did you see them all? It may be worth it to look outside of your area, within your network.

Yes, you will go through more, but the Drs. 1st responsibility is functionality. If you can eliminate bodily wastes, then he has done his/her job.

I would say take the pressure off yourself regarding dating. You have porn and your right hand:). If a mate was in the cards, it would happen when you least expect it.

BTW, I have had 3 implants and 2 revisions in 6 months. Lost a boatload of inches. Have to get used to the new me:).

Pamen116,

I'm sorry that you're going through this. I can only imagine the pain being the same age as you are.

Have faith however that this will be sorted out some way or another. It will just take some time and patience. Remember this; 'The darker the night, the brighter the stars'.

Your situation is exactly the scenario I fear going thru with an IPP instead of a malleable implant.
I echo the same questions that you have regarding malleables, their rigidity for intercourse and their impact on daily activies since you would be forever erect.

I'd love to hear more opinions about this subject and I think your questions have precisely echoed the concerns of many who lurk franktalk and feel discouraged due to the diverse set of issues people actually face post-op of an ipp surgery.
