PINCHING

Postby mrnotcheapjustsmart » Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:52 pm

Hello
My apologies in advance for posting this in wrong spot. Came across this forum and thought I'd ask. I have the AMS 700 LGX implant. I am only about a lil over a week Post Op. Problem I am experiencing is I that it is pinching the $#$% down below! Do I need to go back in for a readjustment, is this normal, does it go away, or what? Any suggestions appreciated. THANKS!

Sounds like classic dog-ears or accordion folds. It does get better. The tissues of the inside of your erectile bodies (corpora cavernosa) are sensitive right now as they've been violated by the surgery and a foreign object was inserted inside them. Over time the "pinching" or as I called it several months ago, "TWINGES OF PAIN" will eventually subside. It took a month or so for me to get past the majority of it but after a couple of weeks, maybe 3 weeks it started to get better. I would still get the twinge at times but not so often and not so strongly.

The cylinder probably has a fold where the tissues have contracted while it is deflated, causing it to fold slightly like fabric does. Once you start cycling (inflating), it will start to go away over time.

Ok... well thanks for letting me know. Feeling it right around where the "button" is. But good to know it will eventually subside.

What do you mean by "button"? Do you mean the button on the pump or something else? If you're referring to the head or glans then it very well may be a fold or kink as that's where I had mine a lot of times.

Oh the button on the pump! I can feel the block of the pump and the button. Around where that button is or the edge of the block, its KILLER pinching right now!

It might be from swelling and inflammation in your scrotum. Ice packing might help (frozen peas). If it continues, contact your surgeon's office.

Oh, okay. That may just be sensitivity in the scrotum from the pump. It should pass but it'll probably take a few weeks to get totally over it. It did for me. I'm over 3.5 months since surgery and occasionally I still get itchy down there. I also get a bit of abrasion or rash where the bulb hangs down. If you're cycling now, try to use a different section of skin to press the deflate button (slide the skin around until the area you prefer is over the pump button, then depress it.)

I've been treating the irritated skin on my scrotum with Triamcinolone cream (Rx) and Clotrimazole cream (OTC) combined 1:1 by volume. Triamcinolone is a strong steroid cream so it stops irritation, itching and over-production of skin cells (eczema) and Clotrimazole is an antifungal cream.

Right, its in the scotum/sack area. I mean this feels like its gonna come right thru lol. Will try to ice down. I know just about a week (on the 7th) but maan! Its not even the stitches on the "gentleman" in fact thats healing up ok. Its the area where I guess they had to attach or sew the button on pump in. And YES can tell starting to feel rough around the bulb too. Will get the cream for that. THANKS!
