Tri-Mix components

Postby Steve5231 » Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:43 pm

I believe there are 3 components in Tri-Mix. They are Papaverine, Phentolamine, and Alprostadil. Please correct me if I’m wrong. But what is the purpose of each of them? What do they do?
75 years old. Was on Viagra and then Cialis but got fed up with the side effects. Switched to Tri-Mix 3 years ago but had increasingly reduce effect. Finally implanted 1/19/2023. Always looking for advice. Live in Illinois.

This PDF version of a pamphlet put out by Wedgewood Pharmacy has the best explanation of the mix components I've found. I have never actually done any business with the pharmacy:

RRP 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Wehle. Non nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 7 - 16 units. Originally Edex20 or 40, then compounded PGE1 due to cost. Inject. 14 yrs. It works. FL Treasure coast.
