I hope this forum can help me out on this one.

As my recent sexual encouters all had negative outcomes regarding my ability to achieve an erection I am hesitating to go back to the dating world, but I am under the impression I might have to good of a dick to be implanted. At least since I had the vein ligation surgery which did improve things. Definitely. Before the surgery I was completely impotent, now I do get a somehow hard erection.

Since the vein ligation I have been intimate once. I was on a high dose of sildenafil and tadalafil as well as doxazosin, but I was a bit drunk (not hammered, but definitely tipsy - let s say 4 beers in 5 hours) and I was able to achieve an erection but it completely collapsed when she gave me a bj.

Anyways for comparison I watched porn and found an erection which looks pretty similar to mine in terms of rigidity and bendability on average (of course I can squeeze my pc, and force an stronger erection.)

If it gets the job done and it feels good, why does it matter if it bends one way or the other? The longer you can use the real thing, the better. Implants eventually need to be replaced, every day you keep the real thing is one more day you are not having surgery.

But After so many years of so much grief and suffering from ED I just can't help partially inflating just to see and feel how great it is to be hard again. I guess I'm still not mentally healed yet. It's almost too good to be true like I'll wake up and find it's gone all an incredible dream.

As for hard enough, a competent surgeon will not give you an implant as long as you can still have an erection. Unless you convince him or her that you don't like the side effects of meds chances are good that you are not yet there. Does Look like you have a Peyronies curve so that might qualify you by itself.

I would say that you need to stop with the pills if they are going to prove to be unreliable on a consistent basis. It messed me up psychologically dealing with many failed attempts at sex with the pills. You could try injections but that is pretty tricky with dating while you're really young.
Where did you get the vein ligation surgery done? Seems like nowhere in the west still does them. How long ago did you have the vein ligation surgery? Are your improvements from it holding steady or steadily declining?
Dating when you're young and having a possibly functional penis maybe sometimes and other times it's ultra embarrassing leaves me not knowing what to do as well. Max dosage of pills doesn't work consistently for me, injections do but trying to explain that to a new partner is hell at this age, I'm almost tempted to do the implant route so I can not have to worry about disclosure with some women (new ones or one night stands etc), I feel like I've missed out on those types of relationships/experiences to a great degree that I want to almost make up for it for a while with an implant. It would feel amazing knowing I could always perform without medication or hiding my medication or sneaking away to take it. To go into a date or bar etc and have ultra confidence knowing you are going to be able to perform (drinking or not, bad shape or not, not eating perfectly) and make her feel amazing. Only thing making me hesitate is "what will my new partner think if she notices my anatomy is different and there's something in my ball sack or feels the tubes in my shaft? etc" and "how much longer might it take for me to orgasm or will I be able to orgasm at all?"

Actually not true. Depends if you have a general or localized leak. I had ectopic veins, two of them, ligation was 9 months ago and results are still stable.
