Abdominal reservoir placement question

Hey guys. I got implanted yesterday and the doctor ended up having to place the reservoir under my abdominal muscle. Its very visible and palpable right now. Will it become less visible with time? Im thin and the doctor said building abdominal muscles could push it inward a bit. Thanks

Same happened to me. Reason was my extensive pelvic surgery so doc was not able to place reservoir in usual place. He made an additional incision half way between umbilicus and penis and placed reservoir under abdominal muscle. Doc mentioned after surgery, I did not have much of abdominal fat to cushion the reservoir. I am 8 months post implant and is hardly visible. I can palpate it slightly right and south of umbilicus.
No bother at all.

Good to hear. Was it really visible under your skin at first? Mine sure is. My Dr. Said if im not satisfied then he could make another incision and bury it deeper
