The Rok is now solid!

I just wanted to pass on the happy news that on 8/14/18 I was re-born bionic. Dr. Gary Friedlander in Rockville strapped me into a 21cm AMS CX with a centimeter RTE.

I haven’t slept appreciably since the general anesthesia. I’ve been laying in bed with a steady rotation of cats, ice packs, and Percocet 5/325 dutifully delivered by my wife q4h. Frankly, the ice works better than the Percs.

Tomorrow the doc will remove the Foley and the Jackson-Pratt. Then perhaps I’ll be more comfortable. What swelling I had in my penis is gone, and my wife says the parts of my testicles she can see peeking under the compression bandages is black/blue, but I expect that.

Onwards to healing!

Welcome to the club. I agree with the ice. Helped me and i never used pain pills. Also, try to stay off your feet. All the best to you !

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Outstanding to see other patients of Doc Friedlander - who, delivered my bionic bone in 2020! Super doc and couldn't be happier!!
