Has anyone tried the combination so as to decrease the amount of Trimix to use

Cautionary up front statement - you are not supposed to mix the two. That said, on occasion when I knew for sure we were going to make love in the evening, I have taken a HALF pill in the morning, and then injected a lower dose of Trimix just before hopping into bed. It tends to make sex with my wife more "like the old days". Trimix allows me to have no issue maintaining an erection, then as I get more sexually excited during intercourse, the pill kicks in making my erection and orgasm even better. I don't recommend it, but I have done it on occasion and happily survived to tell the story.

Professional medical advice appears to be strongly against the practice. IIRC it's based on fears of priapism. My ED is due to a RP and is complete so my experience should be considered unique to my situation. That said, yes, I mix the two regularly.

One things I frequently find lacking about medical advise is "the reason" for the advice. If it is priapism, that is manageable with due care. A pill is just a drug delivery system that delivers much more active agent than one needs as it is diluted. That is why at higher doses the side-effects are so much worse. I had some leftover Stendra (100mg) from the "pill days" and have experimented a bit with taking that and mono-mix that I am on now (see sig) at 36-42 mcg dose. There was no greater tendency to have a priapism. But there were some typical side effects from the Stendra (stuffy, backache, flushed) that I do not get from injections. I have also observed what "graymare" experienced in that that seem to compliment each other in effect.

I started with Trimix when 100 mg of Viagra started to become ineffective. When Trimix started to loose its effectiveness, I started to use Viagra (100 mg) prior to injecting. The combination generated a nice one hour erection. The combination remained effective for a few for a few months until even the combination was no longer effective.

In my opinion, it all depends on the severity of your ED. Start low and move up in intensity (dose) until you hit the sweat spot. Life is full of trials and errors.

I'm using Trimix .30 on the needle. I get a good erection when standing and on top but I loose it when I'm on my back. I'm pretty sure I have venous leakage. I probably won't get priapism no matter what dosage I go up to.

Try using an adjustable (can remove when hard) cock ring. I do. Put it on right AFTER injecting and let it tighten up with the trimix. I leave on for an hour for sex, then remove. I don't have venous leakage, but it may work for you if you have that condition.

I not only take 100mgs of Viagra 1 hour before injecting but am on Cialis 5mgs once a day and don't have any problems. I have my routine which has worked for me for several years now. About 1 year ago I added using a cock ring which helped with the hardness of an erection. Like a friggin wooden pole and I have had no issues. I wouldn't just do it because everybody is different. I've never had a prolonged erection that concerned me beyond an hour or so.I envy guys here who claim to have 4 hour erections with Trimix...lol

With .30 units my erections don't last more than an hour
