I admit I’m finding the ice tough. I have the freezer bags of frozen popcorn, but I can’t put them directly on the dressing as they form condensation and will get things wet. If I use a blanket or towel between then it doesn’t seem very cold. Suggestions?

I haven’t felt a huge need for ice yet, but probably because I’m still mostly numb. But that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be doing it for the swelling. Will I get better results from the ice once the mummy wrap is off later today?

Happy it’s working out good.

Use a pillow case to wrap ice. With the drain still in it is probably helping with pressure.

Wrap your bag of frozen popcorn in a light dish towel and ice, ice, ice, even if you don’t think you need to. Ice was the most effective pain management method for me and I only needed to take 4 narcotic pain killers ( oxy) congrats on taking the big step! I think you’re going to love the results!

Day 2:

Probably 200ml fluid drained so far. It’s starting to look less like blood and more translucent, so a good sign.

I didn’t sleep much, but not from pain. In fact, pain so far has been mild, though I know that might change as the block wear off. I took a half of a 7.5mg Hydrocodone last night to get ahead of any pain, probably unnecessary. I took 440mg of Naproxin this morning for any pain and to hopefully help with inflammation.

my glans is a little cold, and a baby sock over it seems to be helping. I can feel the tips of the implant sitting just at the base of the glans, I assume they will seat higher up as I start cycling.

i woke up with things feeling much firmer than the 30% inflation has been…I have had good morning erections the past few months, and it seems like maybe I have some residual erectile function on that regard, unexpected but yay!

The wrap comes off later today, I expect an accident scene. I’ll post a pic when that’s done. After that the drain comes out and I can shower Saturday, it will be sponge baths until then. I’ll also start pulling the pump down Saturday — expecting that to be no fun.

Tuesday I meet with Dr. Hakky’s assistant and learn to cycle. After that I’ll get my daily dose of cycling pain, then meet back with Hakky on 11/12. Not sure when I’ll be cleared for sex, but expecting the standard 6 weeks for a PS surgery. I’m not in too big a hurry as I don’t have a partner at the moment, but it’s always good to be ready…

Here’s my current setup…David Archy pocket briefs with a slit cut just below the waistband, baby sock in place:

Thanks, will do! So far my pain has been minimal, except when urinating. I took a half a 7.5mg hydrocodone last night and some Naproxin this morning. It might get worse when I unwarp this afternoon and as the blocks fully wear off.

Congrats!! Seems like everything has been textbook smooth so far.

Like you, I found I didn’t really need any of the narcotic pain meds prescribed. I seemed to do fine with 600mg Ibuprofen every 6 or 8 hours. Ice packs round the clock were soothing. And a baby sock over the glans helped with sensitivity.

Congrats on the morning wood around the implant. That’s great news.

Wow, start cycling so quick after the surgery?

My doc told me wait for 6 weeks and as a matter of fact it wasn´t until week 5 when I was able to feel my release button and manage to push it, due to swollen layers and scrotum.

What is the sense of cycling so quick? Regaining size better?

Elbow Room, Congratulations on your outcome. I have similar pre-op measurements and use a vacuum erection device and cockrings after pumping to maintain size for +/- 30 minutes. Did you use a vacuum erection device before surgery?

I took the wrap off. The incision oozed a little blood, but seems to have stopped. Maybe perfectly normal. I taped a piece if sterile gauze over it and put my underwear on and iced it.

My glans seem canted upward slightly, and I can feel the tips ending just at the bottom of the glans. I’m only 25-30% inflated, not very hard. I’m hoping the tips will seat themselves better in the glans at full inflation.

Other than those two things, everything looks good, my dick looks about the same, maybe a hair shorter which is expected this early on.
