I’m curious…did you have a surgical drain installed? I have one, and make no mistake it’s a pain in the ass to tote around. But it probably also reduces swelling and hematoma, as it gives all that blood somewhere to pool other than your scrotum.

It’s my first day of recovery and I have already drained 150ml+ from my drain bulb. It looks like blood but lighter and slightly transparent. I’d sure hate to retain all that in my sack.

That's completely normal, it's wound secretion with little blood in, no worry, drain will be removed soon

I didn't get a drain. Luckily the swelling hasn't been terrible and the body deals with the drainage, but I can tell when there has been some internal bleeding into the scrotum due to movement etc. It's a slight inconvenience mostly. The pump moving around is still causing some discomfort, but nothing too crazy.

Having just taken my wrap off, I can report almost no swelling. I can easily feel the pump sitting behind and slightly above my balls. The scrotum is not painful to touch at all.

It’s still good, but the nerve blocks wore off last night and now I’m feeling the pain! A little in the shaft but primarily over the reservoir site. One day at a time…

Hey everyone -- back for a long overdue update.

I've been healing well, and am very happy to report that the implant is up and running!

I started cycling at 4 weeks post op. Activating the pump required a very tight squeeze. So much so that I was wondering whether there might be something wrong with it. Eventually the valve popped and I was able to pump up. During the first couple of cycles I felt a bit of pain as the cylinders expanded, but this has luckily gone away. The pump is also much easier to activate now.

My urologist called me at 5 weeks post op. He asked me if I'd had started cycling yet, whether I was able to operate the deflate button without any trouble, and ok'd me to start using the implant for sex. The wife and I are so thrilled to have use of my dick again! :D

There is a slight adjusting to the feeling of the hard cylinders, and I found that it's good to have some extra lube to make things as comfortable as possible, but I'm very happy with the outcome as of now. The scars have healed well, and any discomfort is all but gone. I'm happy to have made the leap! :)
