Okay, the mandatory 2 week post op feedback (primarily for the benefit of those considering an IPP - but please be aware it seems everyone is on the same journey but our paths seem to vary a little).

The second part of this most likely extended report is largely for the benefit of myself- done under the beautiful cloak of anonymity.

The procedural bit first. I’ll try and be brief. An unexpected not so pleasant surprise I got last night was that I experienced some degree of discomfort (almost pain) down under in the scrotum area when I went to bed last night.

I ended up putting back on my body hugging athletic shorts to provide some support down there. It seemed to help. The last couple of nights I would go to bed bareback, mainly to let the red soreness on my ball sack (where it had been rubbing) to air a little. Maybe not the best idea on reflection.

As an aside that ‘wound’ has improved but not quite gone. Annoying!

But on the bright side when I woke up this morning my blood pressure was 120 over 80. Just prior to the implant my GP had some concerns about my blood pressure. It would fluctuate from high 150’s down to 110’s but on average it was in the low to mid 140’s. Go figure.

So 2 weeks down. Still a little swelling just above my dick (I had the infra pubic procedure). Dick seems like it’s settled down. Little uncomfortable near the penis head at times but not concerned. Ball sack pretty much okay, still some residual bruising discolouring but that’s okay.

The stats. Semi erect length now-(obviously still partially inflated) 4.75 and girth 5.0. When I was post op the girth was an impressive 6 inches. Obviously all due to swelling but hey it looked good. Here is hoping.

How do I feel? Okay. Hopefully by end of week three all discolouring will be gone and red wound on my nut sack totally healed and minimal discomfort. Fingers crossed.

Okay, now I drift into my personal head space revelations. Have never discussed these things with anyone before and I will never likely do so. Sort of like self therapy. I repeat, I love the anonymity of this forum.

Let me start with celebrating the little things in life. This morning (2 week anniversary) I had the pleasure of having my first bath in many decades. The best thing? I lay back and looked at my junk. I smiled. All I could see was two nuts! (I only have had one testicle ever since I was about 14). My lonesome nut has a new little brother. It doesn’t look out of place.

I have expressed in other posts my issues (demons) that I have had to face over many decades. I won’t repeat them here. On a positive note, I never ever thought that I would be in such a positive headspace as I am right now. Amazing how thinking affects feelings that in turn impact on actions.

Going right back to when I was 14, I am still pissed off at the doctor that misdiagnosed my ‘twisted testicle’ as an infection and sent me home. But that is life.

My sex life from that day forward to now ended up pretty much being totally fucked up. Total loss of confidence further reinforced with PE and then ED! Until now.

I say this next bit with caution. There is a lot of bad shit happening in this world right now. Just switch on the news. Not taking any sides whatsoever. As an aside of soldiers dying (they are just pawns, expected collateral damage) there are shit loads of civilians (on either side) dying, and if not dying, starving, displaced, terrified etc etc. My journey in comparison has been a dream run. It is a pretty shitty world out there for many millions of people.

Then there are my fellow brothers on this forum who have had to deal with some incredible challenges such as a myriad of cancers that I read about. Again my journey was relatively easy. My biggest problem no doubt was between my ears. Self inflicted.

Having said that a few times I went very low into some very dark places. I was becoming very good at practicing my exit strategy. The more you practice that sort of thinking it becomes the logical next step to take. The only question that remained was when.

So…..for the very first time in my life I can honestly say that I no longer hate myself. In fact I now don’t mind myself. What a beautiful wonderful feeling. I will leave it at that. Sorry about my ramblings.

I wish everyone the best with their journey of life.

Wodjadath,
what a great post!
I like how you reflect all the "shit" happening around to your story, but what is the most important now, in his stage, that you are :?: :?:
YOU,YOU,YOU :!:
Going right back to when I was 14, I am still pissed off at the doctor that misdiagnosed my ‘twisted testicle’ as an infection and sent me home. But that is life.

This is something, that still happens in the medical world, failures and misdiagnosis is one of the most medical problems as long as "humans" are the main ones involved in that process. I hope AI will bring some benefits and bring us a more detailed insight to medical problems, so will help preventing misdiagnosis and failures.
Let me start with celebrating the little things in life. This morning (2 week anniversary) I had the pleasure of having my first bath in many decades. The best thing? While some of our bionic brothers are panicking about "Girls will detect something wrong with the 3rd ball", which is a complete nonsens, cause girls just don't care, you won't have that problem at all
Now, I'll go to a very important point in your post
I say this next bit with caution. There is a lot of bad shit happening in this world right now. Just switch on the news. Not taking any sides whatsoever. As an aside of soldiers dying (they are just pawns, expected collateral damage) there are shit loads of civilians (on either side) dying, and if not dying, starving, displaced, terrified etc etc. My journey in comparison has been a dream run. I like your reflect that, but now it's your recovery, it's your dick, it's just you that are important, it's you that you have to take care off
I didn't even had any "bad news" of this world, cause in my recovery time I was not reading newspapers or having news on TV, I was just thinking about enjoying sex and girls, after having lost half of my life to 4 asexual marriages and ED

Celebrate your 2 weeks anniversary, everything is gonna to settle down soon and in your case, as I follow your recovery, you'll have great experience with you bionic dick, physically (sex) and also mentally (self-confidence) and start enjoy life! :D
Enjoy

Great to hear your optimism. Also, sorry to hear about your demons.
It is amazing how these new dicks make us feel better even during recovery. You’ll soon be able to use yours.

Trust me, info more for my benefit so when I am ancient (as opposed to just being old) I can look back at the journey.

3 weeks down. Going okay. Only swelling left is a little on the infra pubic area. No pain, a little uncomfortable at times, but all good. Just massaging and stretching dick gently a few times a day as instructed. Interesting to still have remnants of bruising (yellow coloured skin) on either side of the pubic area, almost on the thighs.

Still also have annoying remnants of red sore on scrotum. Little wound that doesn’t quite want to totally heal and still had a little redness. Good news it is not getting worse. Keep putting cream on and gently massaging around it. Also, hope I’ve gently pulled the pump down low enough. Time will tell.

Going for a couple of short walks daily. Up to half an hour . Every now and then I feel a sharpish pain when I think the pump pushes against the scrotum. Other than that just an awareness that there is something new down there. Again, hoping that things eventually find their place and settle down.

Funnily enough I’m not bothered that it is still 2 more weeks before I’m allowed to start cycling. Added unexpected bonus will be to have a flaccid dick again. Never thought I’d say that!

Hopefully by end of week 4 all that swelling and redness will be gone. Then just over one more week before I start the cycling process. By then I think I’ll be keen to start.

If anyone reading this and other threads that is considering getting an implant I can only repeat, the most important decision you have to make is ensure you pick the best possible surgeon. In my opinion they are like car mechanics, some are clearly better than others. It’s your body, pick wisely.

And while I am at it, if you are looking for reading stories of real interest of other people’s journeys I offer these suggestions.

Search ‘LGXDownunder’. (He is a fellow Aussie that I happened to start reading some months ago when I was contemplating whether I should get an IPP- really informative of what to expect. Certainly gave me the confidence to go ahead and book in)

GoodWood (I only came across his story a few days ago- Brilliant. And I might add what a contrast when compared to my journey. I think his surgeon gave him the go ahead to stay cycling after day 3 and he had a surgery via his scrotum! I had the infrapubic procedure and am scheduled to start after week 5! Never ceases to amaze me the different approaches out there.)

The only thing I think all three of us had in common was that we all used high volume surgeons and felt very comfortable with our choice.

Also search Bionic Dan (his comments are just full of positivity)

….and countless others who make and made contributions that were so supportive and reassuring….thanks

And the purpose of my story? To be honest a key purpose is to record my story for me. Benefit to others contemplating? Maybe just to show that even nut jobs like me (excuse the pun) can do this.

Obviously haven’t yet used it yet but my headspace, the way I think about myself has improved immeasurably since the procedure. Priceless.

Do your research and choose wisely.

Wodjathat,
your recovery looks great, the little redness is nothing to worry, there is still some healing and it will disappear.
I like your boost of self-confidence, go ahead and schedule dates for your "new mission" :D
Good luck

Big milestone. Five weeks and two days after the implant and I have been given the go ahead to start the cycling process.

Just prior to the operation I gobbled a few (too many) Cialis and I measured around 5.5L and 5.0G. Just to make things more confusing I woke up later that night (phantom wood?) and measured just under 6.0L and 5.25G.

On day zero of cycling process, I managed to get 5.25L and 5.0G. Had bit of a kink on the bottom bit of the left cylinder (near the shaft) and the whole cock had a bit of a banana bend to it. I was told to bend at the base and also against the bend in the banana and things would improve and settle over time. Fingers crossed.

I was also told that my distal length pre op was 15cm (about 5.9 inches).

Today, day one, back home, I measured 5.5L and just under 5.25G. I think I managed to get a few more pumps in after I had bent my dick in a few directions from the base than I did the very first day. It also stands pointing north at around 2pm on the clock if that makes sense.

I have to admit it all feels a bit ginger down there after the cycling process. No pain, no gain…..I guess.

My surgeon said when I started the cycling process that I could only realistically expect to gain another 1 to 1.5 cm’s (about .6 inches) in length from my starting point. As to girth size it was governed by my skin’s existing circumference size.

To me in a simplistic sense the numbers all add up. I would be happy over a period of time to end up being just under 6 inches in length. This correlates to my distal length and pre op measurements (that varied a bit).

So to summarise, nice to feel a hard cock again, no matter its size. Felt good but uncomfortable at the same time. Have been cleared for having sex but to be honest I feel if I bonked someone right now it would be a labour of pain more than lust. I can wait a bit. I want it to be fun.

I have set a target date of around six weeks from now. Whatever my length and girth by then will be what it is.

More importantly, I am hoping by then that most if not all uncomfortable sensations will have settled significantly by then. I just want to be able to pump up and feel normal if that makes sense.

Of course I will let Mrs Palm and her five daughters have bit of a play beforehand. Got to have some fun before the main event.

Thanks once again to this supportive community and I wish everyone the best with your journeys.
